Hypothetical: I don't think Vrabel's going anywhere, but if he was ousted, your thoughts on Mike Tomlin?

Hudson is an adult, but Belichick had been seeing her a long time before we even heard about it, which means she was really young. Like Vrabel however that's his business, and I don't care what he does, the only thing that makes it relevant is that you think Vrabel is going to get fired for an affair, and that's not going to happen.

The bigger question to me is who is going after Vrabel, and my money is on the Titans owner, and if one owner is trying to take down the coach of an opposing team that's a far bigger scandal than Vrabel's affair is.

I don’t buy the whole “her kids are his” thing that people are constantly talking about anymore, but even if that were true - I keep seeing people say “well if that ends up true, Vrabel will be fired”

Why? I don’t understand how that would make this any less of a personal issue. What are the grounds for his termination?
Yeah I don't get it either. I'm going out on a limb and assuming there's some current NFL players that have slept with married women, and it's likely that at least one child resulted from it. But I fail to see how they would be in breach of contract by not disclosing that.

Not fired. Resign.

Not that I think he certainly would nor do I wish for it.

But it's definitely a possibility.

If one of her kids is his it might just reach a point he gives up being a public figure.

Attach to that whatever probability percentage you want from 1 to 99, the problem is that the probability exists at all.
Agree. The pool pics suggested that this MIGHT be a little hanky panky. Then it became apparent that this was a long term love affair, like 5 years or more. Now it seems possible that they have a kid together. And it's not just an anonymous woman, but a very well known NFL reporter.

I'd hate to lose Vrabel, and I don't see Kraft forcing him out, but it's conceivable he steps away for a couple of years. I'd prefer he just keeps his head down and tries to ignore the noise. The less he says about it, the better.

That is a personal problem. What are the grounds for termination from his job as HC of the NEP?

Coaches don't get fired for having an affair. Sherrone Moore got fired from Michigan while having an affair only after he was charged with felony home invasion, and Brian Smith was fired for having an affair with an undergrad student, which is a different issue altogether. Coaches have been having affairs at all levels of every sport for as long as there have been sports, and they never get fired.

I want Super Bowls, not a consistent 9-8 team. We can go 1-16 two years in a row if it means SB year 3.

Urban Meyer is debatable, but in general I agree with you.

It's a big revelation because Russini is on a boat date with Vrabel and she's got a big belly being 7 months pregnant. Guys typically don't have affairs with women who are 7 months pregnant unless the child is theirs. And women who are 7 months pregnant typically aren't going on boat dates with a guy who's not the father of her child. If it's not Vrabel's kid, everyone finds this disgusting. And if it is Vrabel's kid, it's just another thing both of them have been hiding another lie. That's why this is big
Serious question: on what do you base those statements?

I’m not familiar with any studies, surveys, polls, or anything measuring such behaviors.

Are you just going to appeal to “common sense” projecting your own beliefs? Or is there actually data beyond your personal opinion somewhere?

Also, fyi I do not find pregnant women disgusting, nor do I find it repugnant that a guy might enjoy spending time with a pregnant woman who is a close friend even if it’s not his child.

What is disgusting is the preoccupation with Russini and Vrabel by folks who don’t even know them.

Normal guys to hit on women who are 7 months pregnant with another man's child. What's wrong with you?

It's not another lie. To the general public, exactly one lie was told: their initial responses to the photos. We're not the betrayed spouses. We aren't entitled to detailed timelines once the affair became undeniable.

So again, nothing additional that comes out about their affair is "another lie" to us. Or do you expect Vrabel to hold a press conference and read off a list of restaraunts they went to together?

Isn’t it interesting how the loudest voices demanding the NFL act against Vrabel or the Patriots or both are either salty Eagles fans over AJB, or people like this who are advertising themselves as bookies or as big bettors themselves? It’s almost like they have money on the outcome of this thing.

Huh. Almost like they know what they’re doing kind of like someone who pumps worthless stocks or talks down companies with pricey stocks for a living know what they’re doing….

If he dumps Vrabel, which I think would be a very stupid move, I'd like to see a push for Flores. But most of all, I'd rather he stay.

Yeah, that's the new thing that surfaced this week. First of all, the Titans gave a 2nd rounder for a 32 year old WR coming off an injury. Sure seems like a very fair deal to me.

Second of all, it has nothing to do with the Patriots.

Normal guys can be with women and not be hitting on them.

What’s wrong with you that you can’t conceive of that?

It is why Bedard said on Felger show that it is a non issue with him because if he had to report on every affair that he knew of in the NFL no football news would get reported. I am far from condoning it but truthfully I don’t give a ****.
I am sure teams get inklings of the same going on with their coach and players. If certain reporters want to expose affairs then they better beware of pushback as long as affair is not with younger girls etc. I’m sure NFL execs and players see this as their privacy even if it is immoral. Those reporters I am sure will be shut down from any interviews or questions by those teams. More or less just secondary reporting which hurts their career badly. If I trust you you get the insider scoop. If I don’t trust you you get the rear view mirror. Sounds extremely threatening but it is how business works. And the NFL is a huge business.

Nothing about Tomlin, just a cool video here.. looks like the guards practicing their internal clock..... block, block, block, run downfield....

Actually what the boat trip represents more than anything is that they are very close personally. And given that Amy Adams Strunk has had a PI on Vrabel for years they have come up with next to nothing. Kraft should hire a retired Mossad agent to find out who Strunk's PI is.
