Patriots Rumor A.J. Brown trade rumors heat up - Should Patriots get him?

A report indicating the Patriots are potentially in the market for this player, or have expressed or plant to express interest.
Well Wolf agreed with me: he would have Traded for Aiyuk too if he wanted to come here two years ago Mayo year. I'm surprised you're are not asking for Wolf's head or have him tarred and feathered.

Had Wolf signed either one I would have **** all over him for it, and all you have to do is go look at what I was saying at the time. Unlike you I don't make up positions after the fact and pretend that's what I I believed all along. You know, like when you said in the draft forum that you loved the " Washington receivers," and then pretended that you hated Polk all along.

Any time you want to compare track records on the positions taken here I'm all for it. It won't go well for you.

There is no MHJ rumor. It was one article naming trade candidates for each team and another article citing that to say that if Harrison is a trade candidate, then the Pats could consider him. No reporting in either article, just educated guesses.
Anything is better than the tired BS about AJB.

The Experts on here thinks MHJ sucks like we have better than him on our Team.

Bunch of get the champagne ready clowns spinning this offseason like its game changing.

I wouldn’t say he sucked
He has sucked so far, not sure why we think he will suddenly be a #1 wr?
I wouldn’t say he sucked so far, he’s had 103 catches for almost 1500 yards and 12 TD passes over 2 years. I will say he hasn’t been as good as some thought he’d be, and also suffered some injuries. But very early in his career.

Sounds like a deal is in place some are going to have a Stroke about the compensation. I'm from the old school you can't get something for nothing.

A lot of us are concerned about getting nothing, relatively, for something.

If you think losing a SB is a bad feeling, imagine sitting out the first round of the 2027 draft while Philly uses our top 10-15 pick after we have a disappointing season.

I have Faith in Drake Maye and A.J. Brown.

100% agree you do not trade a first round pick at an unknown draft position for a WR starting on the downside of his career. If he were 25 probably yes

You right his career is surely downsizing.. I wonder if AJs even worth a 7th rounder at this point...

I will call suicide prevention for some of you when they make the Trade for A.J. Brown. Don't jump guys: there's more to life.
Well, if I didn't jump during the Rod Rust/**** MacPherson years, I'm not gonna jump now...but, if they acquire A.J. Brown, I'd still think it isn't the best way they could build a team around Maye that will contend for SB's for a long time.

Some of you are too short sighted no offence. Think of the A.J. Brown acquisition like this: we get Brown then Draft a guy like a Ted Hurst for Brown to mentor. Wouldn't it be nice to have a guy like Brown teaching our youngster in the fold?? AJB is going to be 29 he has at least Three good years left. S Diggs had over 1000yds @ age 32; Three years is a long time in Today's NFL.

I'm not arguing that he isn't an outstanding receiver who may have a few very good/great years left. I just think the cap space and picks could be used more effectively elsewhere. It's also a legit concern that he seems to be trying to force his way into a trade; I don't think he's a Randy-Moss-level talent who just had a bad rap for his effect on a locker-room.

We're probably not going to agree on this so let's just let it play out. If you want the last word, that's fine with me. It's unlikely I'll change my mind but will admit my error during the Duck Boat Parade with A.J. carrying the Lombardi in February 2027.
