Here's a game.

This is the Consensus Big Board:

The Pats have 4 1st round picks: 191, 198, 204, and 212.

Picking from 191 on, pick any 4 guys who have not already been picked in the game, who would still be available if the draft followed the Consensus Big Board. You cannot pick anyone ranked higher than 190, or anyone already picked.

The board shifts all the time. Honor system that the players were actually available when you chose them; please give their rankings on the board when you made your selection.

I'll start (next post). Let's see how many good options we can find.

Freeling was in the 300-400 range when I starting touting him. Not sure about Iheanachor. I didn't pick up on him quite as early.

Freeling was actually around 160 in May last year. When they started adding players soon thereafter he just kept falling without any review of the player to rank him.

191. Adam Randall (192)
198. Micah Morris (208)
202. Eli Heidenreich (226l
212. Travis Burke (248)

Tough, so many good players late on this ranking. Would have been happy with any of Fa'amoe (228), Jack Kelly (231), Gentry (233), Wisneiwski (242), Villari (273), Van der Berg (292), Miller (304) plus others.

All 4 of your players have already been taken, which is against the rules of the game. But from your list of alternates:

191. Fa'alili Fa'amoe, OL, Wake Forest (228)
198. Eric Gentry, Athlete/LB, USC (233)
204. Dan Villari, TE, Syracuse (273)
212. Jam Miller, RB, Alabama

The purpose of the game is to see just how deep this draft is - how many players are there who we would be willing to take at 191 or later who we think are more than just training camp fodder. Right now we're at 24 and still going.

Some of these guys will go higher than 191 (e.g., Travis Burke), but that means other guts will slip down. I thought it might be a fun/helpful exercise to formulate a list of potential targets, and also UDFA candidates.
