I think that JDL was just talking about a thread to discuss the signings vs. the tracking of them..Transactions are pinned by @DaBruinz at the top of the forum, with others who post and help out there as well:
So, I am starting the 2024/2025 Roster Transaction thread because there have been a few transactions that affect this roster. I'm linking the 2025/2026 Patriots Roster Transaction Thread
NOTE: TheIR rules allowed for 8 players to return from IR after missing 4 games. I will update if this changes.
Note : Starting the 2025/2026 season, the NFL is allowing for 2 players who are put on IR during TC to now return during the season.
The Practice Squad is now 16 Players.

Thinking about DE/EDGE today.
I don't trust Landry has enough left to start or last all year.
Jones is better, but same role as Landry.
Ponder can sufficiently replace Chaisson (both are essentially 1-trick ponies).
Luketa seems a slight upgrade of Jennings, but not a starter.
Swinson may not make the 53.
We need a true EDGE dominator - must be our #1 priority in the draft.
Best option: Keldric Faulk
I'd be willing to trade up ~10 spots to land a 4-down EDGE starter.
We don't need 11 picks for camp, we need 4 or 5 really good players that can make the 53.
I didn't know Henry Hill was a tight end...

I'll see myself out...
I could see this becoming a problem if he refuses to travel with the team to New York. He probably wants to keep his distance.I didn't know Henry Hill was a tight end...

We don't know WHAT Henry Hill is these days as he is currently in Witness Protection.I didn't know Henry Hill was a tight end...

I thought he sold propane and propane accessories with his brother
Freeling seems more likely to go in the top 10 than get to 31.My top 3 targets in RD 1 are Mesidor - Edge, Boston - WR or Freeling - OT. I think they are all top 20 values and have a chance to fall to 31. Freeling won't help as much immediately but if you can get a tackle like that it is hard to pass on him. And honestly as much as it would be a completely failure in a respect to kick Campbell to the inside... if that makes the best OL I'd do it. But drafting a guard #4 would be such a waste of a pick IMO.
Is that list missing someone, or is the count wrong? Here is how i see the main roster right now.
…
LB 4 - Spillane Elliss Mapu
Sorry, I just meant if he was looking for the transactions. All good @jdlboot14I think that JDL was just talking about a thread to discuss the signings vs. the tracking of them..
But there IS one of those as well that you created:
I put these together last week to help keep track of things:
Following 2026 Patriots Free Agency, Latest Player Rumors | PatsFans.com
As we have in the last few years, we'll be following this year's 2026 Patriots Free Agency signings and rumors, with this year's Patriots Free Agents page now available.www.patsfans.com
2026 Patriots Free Agents: Player Signings, Departures
The Patriots' 2026 free agency tracker details player signings and departures. Stefon Diggs and Antonio Gibson have been released, with others pending.www.patsfans.com
The top link is the one I'll be continuing to update as rumors come out and things unfold. The bottom one will be when credible reports on transactions actually happen.
Hopefully, that will make it a little easier to keep track of, and definitely looking forward to seeing how this all plays out this week.

If someone can be good enough to push Campbell inside, I am okay with that. Here is how i see the main roster right now.
Pats
Offense 20
QB 2 - Maye DeVito
TE 2 - Henry Hill
FB 1 - Gilliam
RB 2 - Stevenson Henderson
WR 6 - Boutte Doubs Williams Hollins Douglas Chism
OT 3 - Campbell Moses Bryant
IOL 4 - Vera-Trucker Wilson Onwenu Brown
Others - Westover, Larison, Jennings, Wallace,
Defense 18
DT 5 - Williams Barmore Farmer Gregory Durden
ED 3 - Landry Jones Ponder
LB 4 - Spillane Elliss Mapu
CB 4 - Gonzo Davis Jones Woods
DS 3 - Byard Woodson Pettus
Others - Swinson, Dial, Pharms, Brown, Luketa
STs 4 - Bryant Baringer Borreslas Schooler
So clearly some works needs to be done. I know a lot of people would like ED to be addresses first and i am not at all against it depend on who is there or if there is a truly exceptional OL man there. But let's be honest. Our D was championship caliber last year. It was the offense which fell flat. I think WR needs to be a strong consideration at the first pick. Look at what our D did last year? Will adding more really turn a game like that Seahawks one around? Or would scoring points in the first 3 quarters have?

Mesidor is older, but i don't care. He has top 16 tape. As for Boston.... this WR class is pretty loaded. A guy who looks that smooth and quick and that sure handed... and on top of it is near 6'4 230lbs? Yes please.
I am good with all of them for different reasons.
As for other rounds. DB is a must too at some point. As for my fav value prospect: Eli Heidenreich from Navy. He will be in every mock i have.
Can he play both ways? We still need someone to block. Other than that, you are correct that he would be something alongside Big Milton.Edge rusher, one call, Trade for Myles Garrett. Our first and second round this year and our first next. Done....We can guarantee playoffs for the next 5 years if he's healthy.
Vrabel and McDaniels can fix the rest with what they have right now. I.M.O Garret is LT, Reggie White, Bruce Smith. We would have all 3 Elite keys, Qb, CB and edge Rusher...plus great coaching! Can he play both ways? We still need someone to block. Other than that, you are correct that he would be something alongside Big Milton.
It's not as big a deal as an edge rusher, but I am curious to see what happens at Fullback.
The Pats paid Reggie Gilliam a lot of money, so I am assuming Brock Lampe - a player I felt was a good signing a year ago - is as good as gone.
I'm hoping Elijah Mitchell can get back to his rookie form. That would be huge for the backup situation with Larison in the mix ....Also interested to see what another undrafted rookie who spent 2025 on IR can do for the team - Lan Larison.
The Patriots were extremely thin at RB last year, with Larison going on IR before the season began, Antonio Gibson going on IR after blowing his knee out in week five, then having to rely on a practice squad RB (Terrell Jennings) who also went on IR, and then another practice squad RB (D'Ernest Johnson). Really not a good situation to have for all intents and purposes only two running backs.
