I never said it was a lock… it’s highly probable.
Then stop arguing over nothing.

Perhaps this was the market. Perhaps other teams offered a bit less.Waddle is a year and a half younger, but not nearly as productive as AJ Brown. I think I would rather have Brown. But the Pats are most likely going to have to give up a first for Brown.
I think the Broncos gave up too much for Waddle.
My last memory of Talib... in Back to back AFCCG...Would hate to see Brown with Nix also Denver have better a WR Room than us right now. We should have the Advantage because Brown started out with Vrabel. Also Talib is a Turncoat who bends with the wind.
I posted this in general news but I see why the price for Brown is so high….
Hell yeah!!! when more productive WRS like DK went for less!!! That's a haul..Waddle is a good player but... dam.. a first rounder wow..Waddle is a year and a half younger, but not nearly as productive as AJ Brown. I think I would rather have Brown. But the Pats are most likely going to have to give up a first for Brown.
I think the Broncos gave up too much for Waddle.
They will also point to what Denver gave up.Eagles running out of fake interest teams to sell to get the Pats to up their offer, Denver out of the AJ Brown fake Howie market now.
We shouldn't budge. IMO, we always would have been willing to give a 2027 1st.They will also point to what Denver gave up.
I hope the Pats don’t budge.
We don’t NEED Brown and don’t need to help Roseman with his problem.
Waddle is a good #2... on a team..Perhaps this was the market. Perhaps other teams offered a bit less.
Don’t need Brown lol. They will also point to what Denver gave up.
I hope the Pats don’t budge.
We don’t NEED Brown and don’t need to help Roseman with his problem.
It can work if each player is high volume enough. We would need jumps from Doubs and Williams though. Also need Boutte to stay healthy.Price for Brown keeps going up with these WR trades. Maybe they should revisit WR market next year and just go into the season with a 2 and a bunch of 3 and #4 WRs.
Are you saying the Pats DO need Brown?Don’t need Brown lol.
They went to the SB because of their defense and lucky circumstances, offense sucked ass.Are you saying the Pats DO need Brown?
They didn’t need him last year and went to the SB.
Now they will have a better running game, a better OL, and a deeper roster.
Brown is an expensive luxury.
Trading one Brown for another?
Maybe, but a luxury they're very interested in adding. Are you saying the Pats DO need Brown?
They didn’t need him last year and went to the SB.
Now they will have a better running game, a better OL, and a deeper roster.
Brown is an expensive luxury.
There are two questions of cost.Maybe, but a luxury they're very interested in adding.
That is an oversimplification. They went to the SB because of their defense and lucky circumstances, offense sucked ass.
Had Nix not broken his ankle, the Broncos would've easily beaten the Pats in the AFCCG. Pats OL was getting worse by the week and it got to a point where they could barely move the ball starting in the AFCCG. The only reason the Pats got a TD was because the Broncos' idiot backup threw the ball behind the LOS. People went into denial claiming it was because of the "weather" in the 2nd half completely ignoring the clear skies in the 1st half. That missed field goal at the end of the half was brutal for the Pats as they really needed that. They went to the SB because of their defense and lucky circumstances, offense sucked ass.
