Do you think we’re done in FA?

I would like another edge rusher.
Joey Bosa is still available right?
He’s only had 5 sacks last season but also 5 forced fumbles. Turnovers are valuable.
How much would he cost and would you want him for Patriots?
I always thought he was overrated. He isn't even as good as Chaisson.

Bosa has been comprised by injuries over his career.. seems it runs in the family his brother is hurt as well...

I would ****ing love this move. I unironically love the player and think they use him so terribly in Buffalo.
I was shocked to see he's available... don't know what the hold up is?... he would be used correctly in this defense... imagine the coverage sacks he and Jones would have with this secondary!..

1) Last year, we signed Bradbury, Gibbens and RFA-tendered Elliss about a week into the contract year. I would expect to see similar action before the draft this year, perhaps exactly parallelling with an OL and a couple of defensive front seven players.

2) Of course, there is action during the 2 weeks surrounding the draft, including UDFA's.

3) We also sign free agents all the way up to the "final" cut day and the couple of weeks thereafter. For example, last year we signed Durden, Gregory, DiVito, Woods, and Munford.
I'm all in.... why isn't this move done?

I wouldn't oppose it but I think the Pats should still draft an Edge in the 1st 3 rounds
Absolutely!!! I'm actually surprised we haven't had him in for a visit this is a Vrabel type of player... he is relatively cheap as well and as @TommyD4207 mentioned being used incorrectly in Buffalo...

This is an interesting question because, perhaps more than any team, the Pats “needs” heavily depend upon what happens in the draft. There are few positions outside of QB that would shock me if they target.

Until you know what you have there, it’s tough to fill in remaining needs via low tier FA.

So for now?

Maybe not “done”, but “paused “.

Pats are certainly not done with FA. They may be done until the draft (who really knows), but I’m sure they’ll be active post draft to fill holes as needed and to have camp bodies.

What this team needs is not just starting level talent but depth.. adding a guy like Epenensa who's still young and would be a cheap veteran signing that could help bolster your pass rush depth as it's been widely discussed Landry is an unknown!

The Draft absolutely! However it's still a gamble to not continue to try and add to the depth and to just solely rely on finding pass rush help in the draft..

Jones
Ponder
Landry *
Swinson

this is the current edge depth...

What I probably should’ve prefaced this with was to say signing anyone that would be more than a bottom of the roster/camp bodies.

Guys who are either starters or higher end backups.
In that case, I doubt we’ll see any more of these “big ticket” moves until after the draft.

We’ll take a look at what our needs are after our draft class to assess potential trades and picking up other teams’ post draft cuts.

There is still at least one more move or 2 to make.. Vrabel's a very highly intelligent man and he knows full well his edge depth is a problem as well as grabbing a guy at 31 and then again in say round 3.. you need to beef up the depth... a guy like AJ Epenensa does that for you..

Really interested to see what Marcus byrant becomes for this OL.. is Cadean Wallace still on the roster?
Agreed on Bryant. It would be great if he could be the RT heir apparent in ‘27. I think this season will be the last for Moses…meaning he”ll retire, not just the last season with the Pats.

Wallace is still on the team for now. Gotta believe this TC will be his last opportunity to prove himself and carve out a role on this team.

I tend to agree with you on one or two more “big moves” coming apart from the draft. More than likely post draft though…

Obviously Brown has been discussed ad nauseam, and maybe as you said, a guy like Epenensa might be brought in.

We’ll see how the rest of the off season plays itself out.
