The problem isn't the player. It was the contract. The contract changed from its first reporting. I'm fine with 17 mil a year.

You already said Boutte is a #2. If so then 17 million a year is in line with a #2 receiver as they payed Doubs to be a number 2. And yes next year we may pay Boutte 17 million because he plays a different depth on the field than Doubs. You need good recievers in all phases of the depth chart whether you call them 1’s,2’s or 3’s
