What do we think about Swinson? They liked him enough to not let him get poached, but he still couldn't get on the field.Room is getting thin:
DE/OLB:
- Dre'Mont Jones
- Harold Landry (coming off injury)
- Bradyn Swinson
- Elijah Ponder

Feels like a trade is needed at either WR or DE/OLB asking to draft both and both to produce day one is asking a lot.Room is getting thin:

I would assume the same, which means we still need to replace Chaisson. I would have to think that Edge at #31 a sure thing now.Jones replace Jennings. Need a bendy speed rusher (Ideally with some power) now.
Especially since cutting Jennings seems like a cap clearing move. What are they clearing cap for?Feels like a trade is needed at either WR or DE/OLB asking to draft both and both to produce day one is asking a lot.
My guess is that they think he will be a contributor in 2026 but probably not a starter. Probably a rotational player. Maybe he blooms into more by the end of his contract but it is not likely - but he was a pretty low pick so that's not a big deal, there's always room for a situational/rotational pass rusher on the back half of your 53.What do we think about Swinson? Definitely, right now the room is one starter, one aging vet dealing with an injury who may not be able to get healthy, one rotational player, and one sophomore who might become a rotational player. They need a lot there.Feels like a trade is needed at either WR or DE/OLB asking to draft both and both to produce day one is asking a lot.
Maybe this is why Jennings was cut.
I know you were high on Swinson and I of Ponder. That said a veteran presence would be preferable.Worst EDGE room in the NFL?
Two things need to be true:
1. There's a plan to make at least two additions.
or
2. They're really high on Ponder and Swinson.
