Yeah. I think this team overall is better off for going this route, if we had to give up that much for Brown.

Yep. I felt very uneasy relying on him going into next season. Absolutely best case scenario is that he replicates last heat’s performance and somehow stays on the field and stays healthy, all of that happening was doubtful.

I like him as a replacement for Diggs.
I HATE him if the idea is to have him as the #1 receiver

Doubs is a good chain mover, but I like my X receivers with some game breaking ability which just isn't him.

Of the remaining receiving free agents he's probably the best but that isn't saying much.

I don't think he's here to exclusively play X.

We know exactly what he is.

We also know what Doubs is which is a LOT closer to Boutte than a true top receiver. I guess if you’re spending money to make people happy it’s acceptable but overpaying him and taking yourself out of the running for a real top WR. What does he add that this team didn’t already have?

We probably could still afford someone else if they come in as more of a short term deal. Brown would fit that, but the Eagles want too much for it to be worth it.

The cap is double what it should be? It’s a percentage of what the NFL brings in (which grows every year). Seems fair that it should go up as revenue goes up. Shrug
