Win Sunday and the Patriots have the most Superbowls ever. Lose and they have the most Superbowl loses ever.

It's the same thing. Just a different name for it.
Do you call the National League pennant winners from 1876-1902 MLB champions? It’s effectively the same thing.

Besides, using your Cleveland argument, the Patriots would actually have been in 13 championship games; they lost the 1963 AFL championship game. So they would still have been in as many “championship” games as the Browns if you include their AAFC championships.

SB's is in the title. SB's commenced in 66. Since 66, no team has more appearances than NEP.

Super bowl is just the current name for a championship. The Patriots are top 3 or 4. It's not a negative lol. Still impressive.
Yes, yes, I get what you mean of course.
Just teaching perspective and football history.

Are you like 12 years old? Cleveland has more championships than Pats. They are the original Pats.
It's such a ritualistic truth that Belichick had to coach there before he went to Pats. So did Vrabel.
Can you point out which ones are Super Bowls for me?

Yes. 13 Appearances each. 8 to 7 if they win

33% But I get your analogy and agree with it
LOL. In all other matters, perhaps. Patriots math is whatever I want it to be.
4 more than the Steelers, who have 8.
4/8 = 50%

Win or lose having the most appearances is an accomplishment

You're going to have to update your sig.

Why not replace BB's half with Mayo's half? Passing of the torch, so to speak.

Younger me could’ve never imagined it. Getting to the Super Bowl only to get beaten convincingly by Brett Favre and Reggie White’s Green Bay Packers. And then seeing this team decline each year afterward, bottoming out at 5-11, on our third coach in five seasons. Who would have thought we’d be in the Super Bowl while being on our third coach in THREE seasons? That this team would be the gold standard of the Super Bowl era? Certainly not younger me. What a time to be alive.
