Why? Is the team not allowed to give Maye a rest day? Personally, I'd do it just to play into the Media BS propaganda about Maye's shoulder. LOL
They are all about the rest days right now, and after the Denver game, this kid looked like he needed one. Get him some baked goods STAT!

Thought this was a great video, in particular on "tells" for when Seattle is going to run a T/E stunt - highly recommend watching:

Crib notes:
- have to stay out of playing JSN man-to-man (I think he really just means 1v1 without obvious bracket coverage help)
- Seattle runs more drop back passing from under center (WITHOUT play action) than anyone, which often throws off the timing of defenders more used to shotgun dropback or only play action from under center. This punishes spot drop zone defenses especially, which tempts people to go to man which is when JSN then kills people
- Seattle is great at getting pressure with 4-man rush when they stunt, but relatively bad when it's a straight rush (i.e., a lot of their pass rush success is schemed up rather than just being simply better than the blockers)
- Leonard Williams will line up wider when he is going to stunt; Rams in NFC Champ Game identified this and this led to a lot of Seattle's pass rush failures in that game
- Seattle is able to stop the run effectively despite a small D-Line / playing nickel all the time because of how they align Byron Murphy to the inside shoulder of guards, preventing centers from being able to help with double teams. Most effective runs against Seattle have been outside the tackles with TE crashing inside to pin the edge and guards pulling. My thought is that you'd also want to pair that with a pitch to get the back outside more quickly to prevent penetration (from the aforementioned Byron Murphy) from ruining the play early

Gotta wonder if the Pats are going to activate Jennings and Farmer or just leave them in IR.

Hit him at the LOS with a LB while passing him to Gonzo. No need to double him..
This is only an option when he lines up in the slot or out of the backfield. But it's definitely a good counter to those situations where they like to move JSN around to free him up - force him to play more static position on the outside and you'll have a better defense setup knowing where he's going to be

Vrabel later added that he would've practiced if not for the illness, per Lazar.
Thats makes more sense then. He did look a bit under the weather on Sunday. Hope it clears up fast.

Neither organization was going to go against those looks where they haven't lost. Which is why I'm curious why the heck did management even allow BB to exit the tunnel with that awful red hoodie in SB42?
Did he ever wear that before or after?

Would be crazy if Dobbs started and won SB MVP.
