Josh Allen says the Bills should be in the Super Bowl

He didn’t say anything controversial. Nothing burger article to get Pats fans riled up with a headline.

Pure click bait.

If not for Josh Allen peeing down his leg, the Bills might have gotten closer.

They still wouldn’t have beaten the Pats, they couldn’t stop the run or defend particularly well.

"If I make one more play in Denver, we are probably not having this press conference now, we are probably not making a (coaching) change and in all honesty, we are probably getting ready to play another game."

Well, what the hell is he supposed to say? That's not disrespect at all, it's believing in yourself and your team. But the headline is designed to get thin skinned Pats fans to click it.

We need to be a little thicker skinned. 12th Super Bowl. Four more than the next team. We need to assume our status as fans of The Team The Runs The NFL.
That's a fair point.

I'm paraphrasing here obviously, but didn't bb say it only takes one eff up for everyones season to be over. I've seen enough from the bills broncos game to look awkwardly at Josh. They lost a heartbreaker and may or may not have been because of the refs. Thats sport.

Well, what the hell is he supposed to say?
No offense to you Steve but this saying seriously pisses Pisses PISSES me off. People throw it around all the time when players say crazy ****. It happened a lot last week with Payton trusting Stidham and with McDermott questioning the OT interception. Everyone always asks, well what are they supposed to say?

Here's what they should say: NOTHING! NOTHING! NOTHING!!! Nobody is asking these people to grovel and cry and praise the Patriots on their hands and knees, and bow to Drake Maye's greatness. We're just asking them to have some humility and shut the f*** up after that. Is it so hard to just say "If I didn’t mess up so much we might have won but I can't dwell on it and part of being a professional athlete is having short memory and moving on to the next game blablabla etc etc"? Why does it have to be "If I didn't mess up we definitely win and **** to be honest we probably beat the Patriots too they suck lol"?

I agree with this, but I also think the article is clickbait. Different people process differently, Josh Allen processes things by emoting and talking (maybe he could do it a bit less publicly). Publicly, Drake Maye processes things by taking the blame, distributing the praise. Classic leadership. We are really lucky.

Nothing! The very fact he had HIS OWN press conference offers further indication that Allen runs the team at its owner's behest. Upstaging the introduction of his lapdog coach, no less. Then, in true narcissistic fashion, he professes undying love for McDermott while tacitly admitting being a prime culprit in getting the man fired.

Allen even went on to say he phoned McDermott immediately after news broke that he got canned. I wonder what he said. "Yeah, coach, sorry I **** the bed under your watch. But the good news for ME is I get to help pick your successor. It'll probably be Brady 'cuz I can more easily tell him what to do. Oh, Pegula and Beane wish you well. Good luck extracting those knives from your back. Bye!"

The Prairie Cows have officially entered Jete-level dysfunction and the whole thing is one Allen injury away from imploding spectacularly. Get your popcorn ready for a Jete-Prairie Cows horror show double feature premiering next season.

Pretty arrogant to say you'd be in the Super Bowl, when you've never been.

Yeah, a statement without any precedence to lean on for evidence...silly.

I never really considered the Bills a crybaby org and fanbase. That was an honor reserved for Balt and Pitt, but either they've adopted this mindset, or it was always there and I missed it. The stank appears to be rubbing off on JA.

I really don't care TBH what the guy says. He's a 20-something athlete who's entitled to the point that the owner of the team catered to him and fired the HC and promoted the OC. At the minimum, Allen signed off on it. For all we know, he lobbied for it. Regardless, he's far too inexperienced to be having that on his plate, and a billionaire owner should recognize that. As Pats fans, we can be thankful that ownership didn't see it and did what they did. The ship is righted here in Foxboro, and, much to the chagrin of all the other fan bases, everything runs thru the Pats now. Ownership, coaching and players are aligned. Allen wants to spout off how they should be still playing? Good for him. Enjoy the game next Sunday, Joshie. I'm happy that he believes they are better, but clearly, they aren't, and as fans we get to enjoy the fact that the Bills reign is over. They had their chance.

This is exactly how I feel about the Chiefs, I don't root for them, but we suffered through a lot of what I think is unnecessary hate for no reason and as a fan I didn't enjoy that so I'm not going to put that energy out towards the next dynasty after us. If I wanted to do something like that I would have been a Steelers fan. *Shudder*

I do agree about Kelce but I don't care about his on field play, it's I just think he's a douche canoe as a person. And really there are only two things about the Chiefs dynasty that I hate: Number one I hate all of their fans claiming that Mahomes is the goat. There's only one goat, and we all know who it is. And number two I hate the NFL shoving them down our throats like with the whole Taylor Swift nonsense. It was just idiotic and asinine.

But I respect what they've done and personally find Mahomes to be pretty modest and likable.
I can't blame the KC fans for thinking Mahomes is the real deal. He is and started out just like Brady. I never thought that anyone would approach Brady's records but I have to admit that I was worried about this kid at the beginning. Not so much now.

I wonder how many more fans the NYFL brought in because of the swifties.

Was he on propofol during this news conference?

Pats-Bills week 5... IN BUFFALO... Josh Allen lost a fumble and threw an interception... Bills lose by 3.

They win that game, they win the division. We finished with 14 wins to their 12 but that flip would even us up at 13 and they'd have the tie breaker. They play OL-injury ridden LAC in the 1st round and offensively inept HOU in the divisional round like we did. Our easy path to the SB would have been theirs.

All they had to do is win a game at home against a team everyone wants to imply isn't that good. And in typical Bills fashion... they couldn't do it. All they had to do is not turn the ball over 4 times in DEN including one of the most egregious QB fumbles I've ever seen to gift them 3 points before the half and then I guess they "probably" beat us to go to the SB. Ya know, assuming they don't stupidly blow their chances like they always do.

For all the SBs that Brady/Belichick years produced, it also produced a lot of losses in big games too. I'm so thankful those guys had championship mindset of being accountable for those losses vs. crying about how unlucky they are and what they woulda coulda shoulda done.

At least Mahomes has won superbowls. 3 is still impressive and he can still win more. I can understand Chiefs fans loving their guy and why’d they defend him.

I mean Buffalo can love Allen. Idrc about that. He’s a good QB but he never achieved the pinnacle. I don’t think he ever does tbh. Screw him

I know controversy helps keep the forum interesting ... but c'mon sometimes the other guys are good guys. Josh is a good guy.

He mentioned that they could be getting ready for another game right now. I don't think he was disrespecting the Patriots at all.

Josh Allen channeling Walter Mitty.
