Funny thing to say “ this will be the toughest test”…it’s tha mutha ****n bowl !!! We here for a reason. Have a chance ??? There’s only two teams left .. Love our odds. Let’s Go Pats !!!!!!

People just totally discount the weather when comparing QB play across these games, we've played back to back games in AWFUL weather against the best 2 defenses in the league.

Maye moved the ball in good weather all season against everyone so i would expect us to be much better than the last few games.
 
I like bith helmets. Not a big fan of Seattle uniforms and the Gucci hand bag jersey numbers

As I said in the other thread rematch of my favorite Super Bowl, and it will be a tough one. I hope the Patriots do what some have suggested and have Malcolm Butler as the honorary Captain for the game.

A few weeks ago I decided that regardless of the outcome of this season I was going to step back from the NFL. I'll always be a Patriots fan, but for a lot of different reasons including the big one, my health, the NFL just doesn't do it for me like it once did. So I won't be watching games after the Super Bowl and will go to being a casual fan who checks the standings every now and then and maybe watches a game recap. But I won't be following the team religiously like I have the past 31 years.

So if we win, obviously that will be amazing, but even if we don't honestly, I couldn't imagine a better swan song. Seeing what could be the birth of our third dynasty, seeing Drake get some Super Bowl experience win or lose, seeing the entire rest of the league hating us, but secretly deep down wishing they were us. Let em growl and snigger and sneer. It's as true today as when it was first said all those years ago:

They hate us, cuz they ain't us.

I believe we’re the home team since we were home in all the odd # years (01, 03 definitely). Wondering if they choose the all whites

If you're waiting for another Brady or going to compare everything to Brady you should probably just give up watching football, it's an impossible standard for anyone to ever reach.

He's a 2nd team all pro and in the Super Bowl in his second season, 17-3, that's not enough?

Means.. pop should have a huge game and Henry will again be absent along with hooper. It's gonna be diggs, Boutte , pop and hollins . Ocassional big play by williams .

Let me preface this by saying, Maye is my favorite Patriot right now. But im EXTREMELY concerned about his playoff performances.

His playoffs so far

43 completions 77 attempts 55.8 % completion percentage 4 TD passes, 2 INTs and 3 lost fumbles.

He’s made some key plays, but he’s also hurt the team with turnovers and putting them in a bad position. Thank god for the defense, which has put the Pats in the SB.

I need to see a better performance in the SB, I’m not convinced he can just flip a switch from below average to good though. The pressure really is on Maye now. The question is, can he play well enough to win the SB. I have concerns, and honestly, I’m not sure about him being “the guy” until he proves it. A lot of pressure on his shoulders for a young guy.

I kinda feel bad for Drake, he’s been put in a situation where he has to carry the team offensively. Behind a shoddy OLine, where he’s constantly under pressure. 15 sacks against in 3 games. Other playoff QBs get sacked 1 or 2 times a game.
 
They have Kupp and JSN. Tall order but I have faith in our coaching staff . They will dial up some creative plays on defense.
They also have a good RB in Walker also !!
 
You know what is great. The people on ESPN, yes I know trash, did gut predictions all of them picked Seattle so we get to be the scrappy underdog again. The only thing that would have been better was if it was the rams

It is the Super Bowl. The pressure is "really on" every single coach, player, administrator and participant on both teams.
