Over the weekend, New England Patriots head coach celebrated his 70th birthday (April 16th) and a few of his current and former players took some time to share birthday wishes over social media.

Belichick of course, a noted Luddite who lacks a “SnapFace” account, likely won’t see any of these, but the gestures once again show just how much respect and admiration those who have played for him over the years have.

By coaching into his 70s, Belichick joins Pete Caroll as the only duo holding head coach positions in the NFL in that age category.

Neither of which seems to show any indication of slowing down anytime soon as they prepare for the draft later this month.

For perspective, the NFL’s all-time winningest head coach, Don Shula, retired from the NFL at age 66.

Check out some of the best birthday wishes to the future Hall of Famer below.
