Tbf Stafford played great today. They lost because of a muffed punt that gifted Seattle a score. McVay being an idiot and not taking 3 also kinda hurt them

Very tough defense, not an easy matchup there. Stout DL which is again hard for NE’s OL to go against. On the flip side, Seattle’s offense may be an okay matchup. They love to run the ball which won’t work well against NE. If Gonzo can lock down JSN, Darnold may have issues - especially if he starts getting pressured.

I’m sure many expect a high scoring affair from Seattle but I wouldn’t be surprised to see this end up being a 20-17 type of game.

The seahawks are a run first offense with a massive weak link on their OL in RG Anthony Bradford. Expect the pats to attack him.

The defense will keep them in this game. How much they can get out of the offense vs. an elite seahawks defense will determine the game IMO. Their pass rush is a step below the texans & broncos so they should be able to make plays downfield.

Just in the playoffs and week 18 “win and you’re in” games, I feel like we have seen 10+ instances of coaches being “aggressive” and “going for it” instead of taking the points, failing, and then losing by that many points later, or being in a spot where they’re forced to push for a TD late instead of only needing a field goal if they had taken the points earlier.

These past few weeks have made many young coaches look very foolish.

The good thing is that the veteran players will have two weeks to recover. We need a big game by the number one receiver Diggs. We are paying him a lot of money and moments like this he will need the game of his life. Maye needs to play well and protect the ball. The o-line needs to figure out over the next few weeks. Maybe need Dante to show up and give these guys a speech

We need the run game and pass game clicking. In order for us to beat them we need to be perfect on offense.

In the hypothetical sense, yes we are playing with house money. In reality, just the Hawks and Darold between us and glory. I like our chances.

I feel Marcus will have a field day. I expect few pick 6s coming exclusively from Marcus.

I didn't see Seattle dline putting too much pressure on rams. So oline should be able to handle pass rush.

As for defense , I believe we have the most stout inside pass rush. Barmore and williams should eb able to beat them. If we gain go and do zone we will get screwed. Our DBs and safeties have 0 communication when it comes to zone coverage .

Kill Darnold.

Hate to say it but, Darnold is a damned good QB. If we are waiting for him to have a bad game, well he hasn’t had a bad game in over 2 months, threw 4 INTs vs the Rams on 11/16/25, and still only lost by 2 points.

This is a scary team, great running back, JSN, Kupp, Shaheed at WR, and Darnold at QB. Just scary. Defensively, they are scary.

Our defense has been playing lights out in the playoffs, but Maye hasn’t played a great 60 minute game in over a month. Really need to hope the defense can pressure Darnold and slow down the run game. I really am hoping the Pats play the best game of the year, and Maye plays the best game of the year. Really need to see the 70% completion QB that Maye was all year. Can’t have a sub 50% game.

There is no way they can win this without Maye having a great game. He needs to do what Stafford did tonight. Except, the Patriots defense will need to force a few turnovers.

This game is winnable. But it's their toughest test yet.

I think Maye will play well. His OL will not have AS hard of a time, he will have all his WRs healthy, and he will be playing in nice warm weather in SoCal on a neutral field. McDaniels will have two weeks to come up with the perfect plan and prep Maye.
