yeah, sad how concussion robbed him of a long career. He was exciting to watch. I wonder how he is doing now.
I like guys who play that role: over the T on early downs and inside over the G on passing downs. A good one is huge on 3rd down.

Nick Coe is a name I hadn’t seen but big DE.

How can a guy who’s nickname is SCOOTA and not SCOOTER play anywhere but New England?

Becoming my udfa binkie
Reminds me of Welker

BTW, they wanted him enough that they gave him $57,500 in guaranteed salary + a $7,500 signing bonus.

Bill Murray? Awesome. He's got that whole Total Consciousness thing going for him, so that's nice.

Being an Illinois guy, would like to see Wole Betiku or Reggie Corbin with the Pats.

He looked INCREDIBLE at times in 2018, then fell off a cliff this season. He's a mess with his technique. Serious potential if he puts it all together. He's my early pick for the annual UDFA who makes the squad.

If he fulfills his full potential, I think the late Saint, Will Smith, is a good comparison for him.

He definitely looks both quick, and fast. I like both of those traits.
He was in my tier 4 or 5 last May for slots WR. He definitely is sudden & has some real shake in a close quarters.

More than team meetings. X & O, game planning. Even more than Brady & Bill private convos. I'd want to follow Bill & co during the draft process. I'm a little different but I just find it fascinating how they distinguish between need, talent, value etc ... Love to know what they really think of certain prospects. Would we have let JJ & Lamb pass or trade out if they're there? Same for Kinlaw & others?

Seems Bill & co are as specific as it gets.

To be honest he has a good shot. His athletic measurable are great and he already has played with Stidham. Gunner is probably shook.

The measurables sound like another Braxton Berrios to me. Maybe the pre-existing chemistry with Stidham will make for a better ending.

If only he can stop sabotaging himself

Definitely the concern. Maybe going undrafted while watching his teammates go really high will light a fire? Or maybe he's just lazy and he does nothing here. Who knows. But I had him in round one at this time last year. I thought he would be a Cameron Jordan type if he took the next step in 2019. Obviously, he crashed hard. Tough to gauge attitude and motivation from just watching one season of games.

I predict BB will sign WR Will Hastings as an UDFA.

He played with Stidham at Auburn in 2017. And he's also white...

EDIT. And he started as a walk on kicker, how's that for versatility.

I might have missed on every single pick in the draft game, but when I checked this dudes Youtube videos yesterday he had Patriot written all over him.

Edelman being here this year is very important for players like him to develop, and to inspire a similar story. This is why we shouldn't just give him to Tampa for nothing, as a few have said.

Best case - Hastings will add some muscle, learn, and be Stidhams safety valve in 2021 when JE11 has retired. Worst case - he'll end up with Berrios on the Jets...

Big hitter the Llama...long.

If he has to rehab an injury, the Pats have a pool and a pond. Pond would be good for him, natural spring water.
