I’d be shocked if Deus’s take doesn’t happen. I find it hilarious, and mind-blowing how many people actually think Brady will cripple the cap after all these years clearly understanding it, and taking the discounts to produce a better team.
The man is an obsessive maniac about winning, and being the best. Now it’s going to be just about money all of a sudden? Sure.
Which I think Gruden and Mayock will make a hell of a pitch. They pissed him off last year with the deal they gave him. Incentive laden one year deal. Looks like he took it as a sign of disrespect and now he wants to put the screws to them and let them know he can get top dollar if he wanted to.

A few more bucks sure but I don’t believe for a second it’s $30m.

I'm not sure whether this report is a smokescreen to save face or real negotiations. If you look at what NFL QBs get, $30m isn't ridiculous, even for a 43 y/o QB. Guys like Goff, Wentz, and Big Ben make more than $30m per. I'd rather have Brady, though I don't see how they can "get him weapons" and pay him $30m+.
The incentive laden deal was prior to 2018, not this one. Presumably he signed it because he thought he’d get his long term deal prior to 2019.if it pissed him off, why did he sign it?
He signed it because it granted his freedom this offseason.if it pissed him off, why did he sign it?
Do you think “old ass man” Brady is likely to be a top 5 QB in the NFL next season? I do, and $30m is the going rate for those guys, so I pay it. The issue is just making sure you don’t have a cap crippling dead cap hit if you give him a multi year deal and he declines such that he’s no longer a top 5 QB.30m for an old ass man. So dumb
Brady is coming back to NE.
Its done.

You sound so sure of this, is there something I missed. I really hope you're right, I just wish we would know one way or another for certain.
You did not see the Brady hulu commercial?
or his daughters comments?
As an aside, I’ll note that last night’s halftime show was a quality one for any old ass-man.
