I'm watching at my apartment with a bunch of friends and friends of friends. I don't want to TBH, I'd prefer watching with my family.

For me, it's the same as the past few years, why ruin the success..Lol

Mom, Dad me and two older brothers and sister in law...

Shrimp ****tail and pasta on the menu!!!! :):)

I would lose my mind. I have to be around "football" people. Even for the games that don't have the Pats in them (I know this is a thing... I have read about it), I want people to talk about the game. I'm ok with the ads when the Pats aren't in it, but when they are, I could care less.

To quote Belichick, "it is what it is" At one point last year I zoned everybody out during the game.

Oh gotcha man. I didn’t even realize there was an Atlantic Time Zone.

It's pretty lit in the ATL time zone, HA!

Watching with my fiancee, my best friend and his wife at their place. It's been a tradition since 2014, so it's gone pretty well and I don't want to change it up now.

Sitting in the same chair my ass's been in for 20 years. My family will be relegated to the den. They're all women (mostly)...tuning in just for Justin Timberlick 'er whatever 'da phuk

The only time I host super bowl parties is when the Pats are playing. I am having a small crowd, 7 people maybe. The rule before you come in the door is you’re allowed to root against the Pats but you must do so in your head or you will wear one of my Tom Brady jerseys and we will take your picture for social media. Most people are good about it. Having Pats fans and non alike actually helps me not go crazy as I watch the game.

My oldest daughter has a boyfriend and the parents of the boy invited us over to watch the game. Great kid. Great family. Perfect tv viewing. Plenty of food and drink. No brainer for any Super Bowl or game.

Too many distractions for my liking.

I caved.

Watch by myself (too tense) downstairs. Wife upstairs asks if I’m ok every time I yell. I yell back “yup” because “yeah what do you care you know nothing about football and you’re only asking because I interrupted your Turner Classics Movie binge” might be misinterpreted as rude and take too long anyway.

Food: going with homemade fish and chips
Drink: ipswich ale, oatmeal stout, one each half. I always pound the water in patriots Super Bowls*.

*the 15 year old me would laugh at the idea of me posting this because:
A) he couldn’t imagine the Internet
B) he couldn’t imagine passing up a chance to drink a lot of beer
C) he couldn’t imagine the phrase “in Patriots Super Bowls” being bandied about so casually like it was an annual thing or something.

Like every other game with my wife at home, just the 2 of us. Used to have people over or occasionally go to a party but it is nearly impossible to watch the game like that. Not sure about menu yet but something that doesn't require a lot of attention during the game.
On a related note it's nice having a wife who love football almost as much as I do.

We are returning from Maui on Sunday, arriving at Logan at 4:20 pm. Should make it back home in Western Mass just in time for kickoff. Our daughter is home so we should have a bunch of family and friends already at the house. No idea what we will do for food yet. All I know is that I have six Treehouse Haze waiting for me and the Pats are in the Super Bowl again.
Hey, I'm also a western MA (Agawam) Maui (Kihei) vacationer. Never been there for a Pats Superbowl but we were there for Pitt vs Arizona. (They were robbed) and the run up to XLIX but we were home before the divisional game (and actually scored Tix to the AFCCG vs Indy.... That was a good couple weeks.

Good luck getting home on time.

Howdy neighbor! The trip to Maui (Kaanapali) was a last-minute thing with my folks. By the time I realized that we would be flying home on Super Bowl Sunday the flights were already booked. The funny thing was before that I was contemplating going to Minny. I had booked a hotel room last February in case the Pats made it. Like you said, hopefully we make it back in time!

In my friend's theater watching on the projector... just us two.

i've found i need to watch it only with other people who it's life and death to. None of the "You can't win em all, it's only a game" crowd. need people who also have their mental health fluctuate with every single play.

no booze. save that for after. distraction. don't want to be focused on anything other than the game, don't want to be inhibited one bit, want to remember everything

You poor bastard.

You can always “feel sick” and have to stay home.

Could even be finger down the throat worthy.

Agawam, Home of six flags and Nicky’s pizza.
We are an hour and a half away and try to get there 5 or so times a summer.

I'm watching it with the wife like always. ill tune in right at kick off. I'll skip the halftime garbage. I won't eat anything different than I always do. and I won't drink a drop of alcohol. I like to actually pay attention to the game. drinking partying is a distraction.

Me and my 8 year old Patriots fanatic (wonder how that happened) son will be watching together in the bunker. Lucky shirts are unwashed, and this year we have three bottles of champagne. We just shake them up and shoot them off. 2014 we had 1, last year we had two for some reason, so only made sense to buy three this year since it’s our third together.

They keep winning I’m gonna have to buy a vineyard.

This has always been the approach that I have taken too, but I’m strongly contemplating a nice big glass of wine right around kickoff to help calm the nerves this time. I still haven’t decided. As you both mention, I’d rather not have to due to the distraction, but these big games take a bit of a toll on me.

I honestly don’t even remember most of the commercials or anything, aside from one Audi commercial back in the 2nd Giants loss. It’s like I’m in another zone, altogether. I’m not a guy who freaks out and throws stuff or anything, but I’m pretty antsy and agitated—sometimes pacing, etc.
