If this was BB instead of Tomlin, I'd predict the player would get the icy treatment and know he is on Death Row, but not know the execution date. BB would wait until he could find a good deal and trade him.

The irony about the people coming to Tomlin's defense is they pretty much call him a cheerleader when they defend him. They just use the word motivator instead of cheerleader. It is essentially the same thing.

I find it fitting that the atmosphere of idiocy that Tomlin created has bitten him in the ass.

And some dope are trying to spin it as its them being "loose" and the Pats way isn't the only way. While the latter part is true, the former isn't. When the coach is saying one thing and a player just other ignores is or isnt't listening. That's not good.

I'd say everyone in the Pats locker room is on the same page. Just look at their locker room video. Yeah, there is some joy because you won a playoff game. Yet even there you sense some disappointment and awareness of what needs to be done. It's what champions do.

Yup, there's loose, and then there's players screwing around on Facebook while you're giving a speech. That's what would piss me off the most if I were on that team.

I imagine there's a few players on that team who aren't too happy right now.

In fairness to Antonio Brown, I don't think he was paying attention to what was being said. He was to busy being in awe of himself....

The difference in atmosphere and attitude in the locker room of a team who had cruised to a comfortable 18 points win and one that had scraped through by only scoring field goals is interesting.
