If we take McCarthy at 3, so be it. But they better be right about him and that Maye is going to bust.
I think they should be playing it safe, take Drake Maye and the upside IMO.
I would say folks need to calm down a little over the loss and I would because I don’t think KP is going to **** the bed like that again.
My worry is about Mazzula though, he could seriously derail us.
This series is going at least 6 games, maybe 7. It doesn’t matter the Heat are just in our heads.
Game specific:
Porzingis was horrible and so was Jrue. Hate to see the guys who are supposed to push you over the top play like that. If Jaylen had a game like either of them Ice would have an...
It’s also at minimum 16 games, more like 20-25 to win it all. You can still overstretch guys.
If it’s definitely not necessary, don’t push it. It’s only one game though so we’ll just see how the rest of the series plays out. Just my opinion though.
It felt like he played the starting five almost the entire third quarter and like you said Tatum 41 minutes in a blowout.
There were a bunch of defensive breakdowns in the fourth IMO and it wasn’t simple complacency. They were out of gas, primarily Tatum which led to sloppiness.
I did not like...
Very fair post. Brown’s ability to drive to lane is superior to everyone else on the team and it’s crucial when we mostly have guys who would like to take threes. They are helped by his penetration in the lane.
I agree Brown’s FT shooting is scary though. You can tell he is always thinking...
I agree, they weren’t selfish. Both Tatum and Brown have become willing passers to the open three, especially Brown. They have trust in guys like Hauser and Pritchard and are more than willing to find them for the open look.
Basically pointed out how Spoelstra called a meaningless timeout that late with the game sealed and immediately after Martin barged into Tatum.
Edit: Saw an overhead video circulating which shows Jrue giving a solid bump to Martin that resulted in him crashing into Tatum. So maybe not dirty...
Scal was insinuating that Spoelstra encouraged it in the huddle. I’m not sure I’d go that far but it was ridiculous and the announcers were saying it wasn’t dirty.
Already said he had a bad stretch early, he was better afterward. Again do you have anything else to say about this team or the game? Anything? Or just froth about Brown the rest of the playoffs? It’s so old.
Hauser got hot from the corner, great to see. We’ll need more where that came from...
Don’t know what game you were watching. Brown and Tatum weren’t playing selfish. JT got sloppy at the end. Probably didn’t help that Joe played him 40 minutes in a twenty point win. He looked tired toward the end.
