Mazzula has a good basketball mind but can’t make adjustments and has a stubborn personality that borders on denial at times.

If we take McCarthy at 3, so be it. But they better be right about him and that Maye is going to bust. I think they should be playing it safe, take Drake Maye and the upside IMO.

It’s also at minimum 16 games, more like 20-25 to win it all. You can still overstretch guys. If it’s definitely not necessary, don’t push it. It’s only one game though so we’ll just see how the rest of the series plays out. Just my opinion though.

I agree, they weren’t selfish. Both Tatum and Brown have become willing passers to the open three, especially Brown. They have trust in guys like Hauser and Pritchard and are more than willing to find them for the open look.

Scal was insinuating that Spoelstra encouraged it in the huddle. I’m not sure I’d go that far but it was ridiculous and the announcers were saying it wasn’t dirty.

Don’t know what game you were watching. Brown and Tatum weren’t playing selfish. JT got sloppy at the end. Probably didn’t help that Joe played him 40 minutes in a twenty point win. He looked tired toward the end.
