Was it the quote where Wilbon said teams should start going after Brady's knees for "running up the score?"
I like Wilbon also actually, but I think that any non-Pats fan hates the Pats now and that's probably his justification for picking them to go 10-6.
Especially since "Any given Sunday" isn't a very tangible reason to predict a season. Nothing has transpired that would indicate a 10-6 or 9-7 season. Just because it "could" happen doesn't mean that it's reasonable to predict that it will. Brady "could" get injured and BB retire, does that mean it's reasonable to predict the Pats will be 4-12?
He didn't say they "should". He said they "might" if the Pats keep running up the score. And, like it or not, we did run up the score on defenseless teams last year. But hey, that was all good with me. Belichick will be DAMNED if he is going to let a couple of reporters taint his legacy. What better way to prove that the cameras didn't help if, after you take them away, we are still blowing other professional teams out?

I've read some of your posts and seem to be very level-headed. As a fan of one of the teams that got the score run up on, I have absolutely no problem with the Pats doing it. These guys are professionals and the Pats don't have to let up for anyone. But if I was a player on the Bills (especially after the questionable Wilfork hit on Losman), the thought to take a shot at Brady might have ended my head. Professionals don't wanna be shown up. All Wilbon did was express this. But I guess he deserves a heart attack for this blasphemy.
Has it ever occurred to anyone that not EVERYONE in the national media needs to ballwash the Patriots? He picked them to go 9-7 or 10-6, what's the big deal? Try to take off the the homer glasses and realize it is OK for someone to think that they won't do well. Anything can happen on any given Sunday and we know that. I just don't understand why everyone gripes because ONE guy does not think they'll go 16-0 again. He picked us to be mediocre, so who cares? Get over it. Do I agree with him? No. But not everyone sympathizes with the Pats.

anybody reading the Above post should know this is aquasack4ever the guy who's been banned four times and stiffed a charity for almost a year. he admits hes aqua in the thread throw the dolphins a bone in the VL.Wilbon is openly unknowledgable about football. Kornheiser, surprisngly, generally carries the conversation when they're discussing football and he often has to fill Wilbon in on information.
So with that, it's no surprise he makes this prediction. How they win only 9 games with that offense and that schedule would be a mystery to me.
I really don't see any way the Pats lose more than 5 unless Brady gets hurt. I'm predicting 13-3 as of now.
Who said he deserves a heart attack? Nobody. Just like Wilbon didn't say Brady deserves to have his knees blown out. He implied it by saying it would be reasonable if it happened and showed that he thought the Pats were being unsportsmanlike.
I forgot about that, maybe that heart attack he had was karma.
Think about the media FRENZY that would have happened in 2004 if someone had said "Man, those damn Colts keep running up the score...someone should take out one of Peyton Manning's knees!" People would have lost thier damn minds. But saying it about Tom Brady is perfectly fine.
Why are you here, Marv? Isn't the Stadium Wall looking for more people to discuss the Toronto Bills?
Forget it Wildo, your dealing with maybe an 17-18 yr old at best troll from some God forsaken place that thinks the word Karma means "deserves". Hes just trying to stir things up.Who said he deserves a heart attack? Nobody. Just like Wilbon didn't say Brady deserves to have his knees blown out. Really??? You can't talk football with another fan without a silly comment. That's pretty sad.
And Toronto Bills crack? Damn, you're original. Do you got some your momma jokes next?
you were banned four times for a reason. soon to be five .lolHow come all fans of other teams are classified as trolls? Marv and I are having a very pleasent/informative discussion about the 2008 Bills in the VLR.
