New York Jets Draft blunders

This is a funny video. The fans reactions are the best. I especially like the part where one talks about Marino, and how the Jets clearly know something they don't, in taking Kenny O'Brien. LOL!

It's like a train wreck...you just can't believe it keeps happening as car after car full of life ends up bursting into flames! ROFLMAO - thanks for finding and sharing that, it certainly made my day. No wonder they're so bitter...you almost forget how abysmal that franchise has been and how much heartache those fans must have to endure. My god, the horror....the horror...

Yeah that one always gives me a kick. I really wonder how the Jets could possibly manage to screw up this draft with the #6 pick in rounds 1 and 2.

i love this video. i watch it every year.

I forgot that they drafted Kyle Brady.

Funny stuff! That helps to put everything going on with the Pats into perspective. Those poor ******' saps, AKA Jets fans, deserve the team they have. I hope they remain bottom feeders for decades to come.

With the sixth pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select Matt Ryan, Quarterback from Boston College.

Honestly, my gut is that is how they don't screw up this year...I doubt he's going to be a superstar, but he might be a franchise QB (ala Drew) for the next 10 years, allowing them to build a franchise. Sadly Noodlearm and/or Clemens will not be that guy. Granted, they might stink enough for years to come to be able to get another "franchise" QB too, but at #6, Ryan might represent their best bang for the buck, I suspect he's going to be a solid if not HoF caliber QB who can consistently lead a team to wins with solid players around him...

The faces on the fans are what get me. That type of raw disappointment is just impossible to fake.

Mel Kiper was funny too.

I've watched that video at least 5 times. Classic.

As much as I generally detest Kiper, I agree, his reaction was priceless!

Interestingly, Belichick loved Brady that year as well and, after the Jets drafted him , the Browns traded down out of their number 10 pick, passing on Warren Sapp, whom he also liked.

some of the reactions are similar to the reaction we saw last year from the big Dolphin fan in front of the camera when they picked Ginn at 9.

That dude's face was priceless and Jamie Dukes was even making fun of him and doing the face.

"We want saap we want saap"

Good thing they didn't get him.

here's the video im talking about.

I couldn't find a good one. Unfortunately it's one of those videos that was taken of someone's tv.

What was wrong with Freeman McNeil? The guy was awesome.

Whenever I need a good laugh I watch that video. We want Sapp! We want Sapp! Hahaha here's to hoping they can add another name to that list this weekend.

It's funny, the 1995 NFL Draft helped fuel the Patriots dynasty almost a decade later.

J.J. Stokes, Kyle Brady, Tyrone Poole, Terrance Shaw, Christian Fauria, Ted Johnson, Todd Sauerbrun, and Ty Law were all chosen in the first two rounds that year; all played for the Patriots at some time in this "dynastic" era (Sauerbrun and Brady being the only ones of those without a ring).

my favorite line of the whole clip. A fan's reaction after they select Ken OBrien over Dan Marino:

"Everyone said that if Marino was around we would select him. Obviously the Jets knows something we up here don't"

Yeah, like how to royal screw your franchise for about a decade with a single selection.
