Moore: since he's apparently an RFA, I'm going to assume he will sign until I hear otherwise.

Paxton: he's a UFA, but given that the Pats have drafted a half dozen guys who can long snap, and he's still here, I'm again going to assume he's sticking around until I hear otherwise.

Bad assumption....This was from Mike Reiss last night

The Patriots did not make a qualifying/minimum tender offer to DL Rashad Moore, thus making him an unrestricted free agent. Moore was with the team in 2007 training camp, was cut, and later joined the club for the stretch run.
Based on this decision, Moore is unlikely to be back with the Patriots in 2008.
