He said he wouldn't break the bank for Kraft but would for any other owner so . . . . yeah . . . there was a little fibbing going on if he ends up leaving.

I want him to stay. For certain. However it's not a total no brainer with the various issues surrounding him and some other interesting ways to spend the money.

Especially if the offer of 3 years 30 million turns out to be true. Thats a huge amount of money to give one player and he might walk on that.

Call me a bit pissed.

I remember everyone saying last year that Welker had been signed to a 7-year poison-pill offer sheet, but no one--not the Pats, the 'lphins, or Welker--has said anything to that effect

In other words, we have no idea what's going on, so at this point, all we can do is speculate (or not).

pats always mess with the media. they know everyone is going to pay attn to moss. so they wont annouce it right now. they might not even 'announce' it. might just show up in the nfl documents and then the reporters would find out.

and it really isn't that big of a deal if Moss leaves.

It can never be worse than watching the pats lose the superbowl live, so remember that buddy.
