Dansby or Hobson should be priority #1

Has anyone considered what would happen if we had another Pro Bowl receiver opposite Moss and Welker?

What happens to the double team at that point?

Maybe Ocho? I doubt it, but then again this time last year I did not think Randy Moss would be catching balls from Brady.

In all of our minds, Welker is and should have been one.

Terrell Suggs should be the #1 priority. He's 25 years old and really get after the passer. However, I have a feeling he will end up being franchised or go back home to Arizona.

I thought the Ravens were going to fanchise him...

The Ravens are known to not franchise their players. In addition, the Ravens are unsure if they will franchise Suggs. But, I'm sure that will end this year. However, if he does get free, the Pats should make a serious run at him.

The Patriots have hardly any money under the cap to sign a big name free agent. In order to sign Randy Moss, the Patriots will most likely not exercise the option bonus for Donte Stallworth.

According to Miguel:

"According to my figures the Patriots' 2008 cap figure is $112,709,518 with 47 signed players. The projected 2008 salary cap is $116,134,000. It is unknown at this time what the Patriots' 2008 adjusted cap will be. Adamjt13 reported on January 23rd that the Patriots' 2008 cap commitment was $111.08 million with 43 signed players so my numbers are really close to what they should be.

DISCLAIMERS - My numbers are a snapshot in time. Things will change between the as of date and a future date (the beginning of free agency, draft, TC opens, 2008 regular season). Please note that the above numbers does include a $500,000 Pro Bowl escalator for Vince Wilfork but not any other escalators. My numbers do not include the effect of the LTBE/NTLBE calculation that occurs to help determine each team's adjusted cap number. Example - My numbers do not yet account for Moss reaching his 2 million in NLTBE incentives."

he is the beneficiary of 4 guys in front of him. Not really a 3-4 LB either.

Dansby : 6-4, 250lbs
Mitchell : 6-1, 253 lbs and actually an OLB

BB like big LB's who can shed blocks. Mitchell is short

Bruschi is 6-1.
