Re: Who is going to the big game???
Hey...new here and first of all congrats on the greatness. It must be a very exciting time for you all.
I am here to offer my house for rent during the Super Bowl week. But this is not like a lot of the websites you can go to. This is a house that is about 24 hundred square feet with three bedrooms for $500 a day. The catch? I live about 50 miles from the stadium, but in a suburb of Phoenix...it is in Gilbert, Arizona.
Now let me explain a few things. For those thinking of renting a house in Glendale near the stadium. Glendale flat out sucks. Other than being close to the stadium on the day of the game this offers no real benefit and costs a lot.
The things to do are going to be in Scottsdale and my house is about 30 minutes from that area...20 minutes from Tempe. You can have free reign of the house if we can agree on some things. I am looking for $500 a night with a five night minimum. We have family in the area and no big deal. The house is two story, I have all the football channels including ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN News, ESPN Classic and the NFL Network so you can stay on top of things when there. My thing is this...the costs are crazy for some places, but who is going to be where they stay much? I figure it isn't going to be a lot.
I will take up to six people, but I only have a queen bed and a single bed. The other room is my newborn son's room. I have an air mattress that could be used if needed. Six people in this house means the cost is less than $100 per person per night. Try finding that at this point!
I will have to work out details as this is a major trust issue, but it can be done and a security deposit will be required. Once we check things before you leave you will get the deposit back. I will be more than happy to direct you to the hot spots, places to go, ideas for things to do as well. You will have a huge side by side fridge, washer and dryer, three full baths and it is in a nice neighborhood called Power Ranch. If you need it for more than five nights, let me know and we can work that out.
Shoot me a message if you have some interest as we will need to talk...I need to find out some stuff about the folks staying there...and get to the point where I believe you can be trusted in my home.
Again, Glendale is basically an old town with not much to do and a big stadium. Other than that, no advantage of staying there. The action is in Scottsdale and my house is just as close to Scottsdale as Glendale is. I know the best restaurants, sports bars, night clubs and even establishments that Pac Man Jones would approve of. I am more than happy to pass that info along to the right person.
Good luck...let me know if you are interested...and here you go for 19-0!!!
