Was the Moss reverse a WR option?

Before Moss cut inside for the gain on his reverse, he looked as if he was lifting the ball toward his ear.

I have trouble imagining an option pass in gusty conditions -- still, was I just imagining this?

I didn't see him run a reverse. I did see an end around though.
