Would you rather see a rematch 1 more time of Pats and Colts... Or would you rather stay classy for a eaiser road to the super bowl with the chargers..

I wanted 1 more time with the Colts.. I know the Chargers are becoming a rival, and I think will be a little easier, but 1 more shot at Manning, and probably the last shot at Dungy would have topped all yankee red sox games, or at least I would have hoped it would..

Yes and No Sean. Obviously the Colts are a serious threat to us....Maybe the last one. And after watching that refereeing debacle with the Colts game last weekend, I for one, have had enough of them and the refs. But on the other hand, I was anticipating playing them and the hype that would come from seeing us play them again was going to be a lot of fun.

A rival, heres the thing about the Chargers being a rival, don't they have to win some? When is the last time the Chargers beat the Pats?

05 at Foxboro 41-17 with the great Montey Beisel at LB

02 at San Diego 21-14, LT ran all over Otis and Milloy that game...

I'll happily take the easier game. The Pats already beat the Colts despite getting 140 penalty yards.

Anyone think if the Pats go 19-0 there will be some members of the '72 Dolphins who will say that it's not fair they got to avoid the Colts in the AFCG?

Somewhat, but any team that makes it to the AFCCG is good, and will be a test.

I agree that SD will be a bigger test in the AFCCG than Week 2 was. But at least the Pats don't have to face the referees IN ADDITION to their on-field opponent.

From my own selfish point of view I like the fact that we are playing the injury-riddled Chargers. This would suggest an easier road to the Super Bowl.

As an NFL fan, though, I feel cheated that we do not get to witness a Pats-Colts rematch.

In fact, I also feel cheated that we do not have a Green Bay - Dallas rematch.

Chargers-Pats and Giants-Packers does not have a conference championship feel to it.

They are banged up but I don't think this is going to be an easy game by any means. We faced them week two when they were new to their system and their entire coaching staff, now they are in a rhythm and confident in their system, that said, I still like our chances.

If people say that , they are insaine...but I expect that...

I agree wholeheartedly feeling cheated! Plus, I would of loved seeing our fans give it to 'Seyton' Manning with a few snowballs at halftime / and final whistle!! I heard so much from a few Colts fans I barely know (thru work) who just think they are the best team ever! Dumb fan base and am glad that their stupid dome is going away (their new stadium is not a dome right?)!! Revenge for last year's AFCC would of been relly icing on the cake!

It would have been more intense if it were the Colts, but I can't say I miss the ridiculous hype that would have led up to the game.

I wanted the Colts, although I had a feeling they would not make it past San Diego (the Chargers seem to have their number of late). As one article put it, it likely has the same feeling the 1985 Bears had toward Miami after ruining their perfect season. The Pats upset the Dolphins in the playoffs, and the resulting Superbowl was a dog. I have a feeling it will be a similar story with the Chargers now that the Colts flopped and the Pats can't usher them into the postseason from the AFCCG.

Agree but it's still better than having to see Manning again.
