A highlight reel clip for sure but I'm going to be hyper-critical. Once you've put the defender on the floor and taken him out of the play, why jump on him? There's still a chance Heard could make another meaningful block downfield, even if it's to protect the runner from a chaser behind.

Still, Heard looks the part of a LT and showcases really good athleticism in space.

So apparently PJ Williams (SMU) is playing LT this year.



Edit: Williams was the 2nd highest graded pass blocker in week one across CFB behind a Florida State guard.

Edit 2: When I got up this morning, I put on the highlights of the game and started focusing on the RT assuming that was Williams, and was disappointed in what I was seeing. Imagine my relief to find out he had switched to LT.

One of the biggest stories of the fall for me is which OL prospects will rise, especially at OT. Jordan and Goosby givens, but the field wild open after that. Jacarrius Peak PJ Williams, Carter Smith, Melvin Siani, Niki Prongos, Elijah Paige, Ian Moore, Samson Okunlola. There will be some risers.
