Here’s what Ryan Cowden said earlier when asked about Landry: “Yeah, anything guys have going on injury wise, that’s kind of out of my realm. I’m not going to speak to that here. Harold’s going to do everything he can to get back when he’s healthy and when that is, he’ll be back out there.”

If only Vrabel would’ve listened to me dating back to April when I lobbied to sign Clowney. We really could have used him this year.

Anything we get out of Landry at all this season will be a bonus. Another quality Edge player will be needed at some point. Hope they can get lucky and find someone in the cut downs this weekend to get us by for a while.

We gonna have to win some game with Offense this year. I don't see this Defense holding really good Teams under 21.

Might be a long season of watching mediocre QBs getting too much time and finding the open guys time after time.. ugh

He will make the 53 and then go on short IR. We will have to trade for a pass rusher or pick one from the pile of cuts.

I'm sure Vrabel knows we have the Toughest Schedule in Football. Yet he took a casual approach to our EDGE situation; we should have kept K Chaisson.

Regardless of Landry's situation they need a vet at Edge. Someone that can give them ~20 snaps/rushes a game and somewhat competent vs the run.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn if Landry has some kind of degenerative/severe arthritic thing going on and the drugs, etc aren't helping.

They let Houston sign J Clowney like they freaking Need him.

Clowney should’ve been the guy damnit!
Very good run defender.
8.5 sacks in 14 games last year playing about 45% of the snaps.
$5.5M is what he signed for.
This is a miss on our part imo.

When healthy, he’s very good, but availability is the greatest ability…Juice ain’t worth the squeeze

Agree completely.

It's not all gloom and doom. I like the Jones signing. I think he'll do well here actually. I like Swinton and Ponder but they aren't what I call 60 snap guys. Jacas is promising- but raw.

FO reading their press clippings from last year... even a blind monkey would have made that move.

I like the youngs guys but bring in the Vet to help them along.

Any decent vets out there worth signing?

Reddick and Floyd are the popular names. I have no idea if they would do well here or not. Reddick is light in the pants. Floyd might make more sense here.
