It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The Globe did a nice rundown of the useage rates from last season of the Sixers starting 5And the 76ers have Brown who is smarter than LeBron. How is that going to work out?
Remember when the Clippers won the Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes from the Lakers? The Clippers were going to be unbeatable.
The 76ers are going to be very interesting this year. And imagine if they don't pick up Brown's two more years at $71M per. LOL.
I think Philly will be issue a lot of "Maintenance Days". Hell, Embiid hasn't played more than 66 games in 4 years. LeDouche will take some time as he'll be 42 in Dec. Maxey will play 70 games or less and JB will play 65-70 games. Guys will get their minutes. The Globe did a nice rundown of the useage rates from last season of the Sixers starting 5
Clearly those players who want the ball a certain amount of time are not going to be happy
Tyrese Maxey: 28.6 percent
V.J. Edgecombe: 19.6 percent
Jaylen Brown: 35.1 percent
LeBron James: 26.2 percent
Joel Embiid: 33.6 percent
Add that all up and you get ... 143.1 percent. So, you know, someone might need to take a few shots fewer.
143%. Hilarious. Great post. It will be fun to watch. The NBA is supposed to be entertainment so the 76ers will live up to the entertainment value. The Globe did a nice rundown of the useage rates from last season of the Sixers starting 5

I think you're correct on resting players - or at least that's what I'd do, including using Simons off the bench (who had a useage rate himself of 23.7% when he was playing last year with the Celts).I think Philly will be issue a lot of "Maintenance Days". I don't think the issue is game time...but touches and shots when they do play together
In 2008 Doc had a similar issue. He got buy in but it wasn't easy in the beginning but it worked.
Shots per game:
Allen: 2007: 21, 2008: 13.5
Pierce: 2007: 18.1 2008: 13.7
KG: 2007-17.6: 2008: 13.9
We'll see.
This kindof impresses me that Dillon Mitchell chose to sign a 2 way deal with the Celtics rather than take the option of going back to St. John's.
He's getting just under $700k to be on a two-way deal that allows him to get time in the G-League as well as some stints in Boston if he's up to it.
What's impressive is that he turned down NIL money that would probably be well over $1 million if he went back to St. John's and could make even more if he parlayed that into a higher draft spot next year. But this guy clearly isn't about the money - he's got a shot to play pro ball and he's taking it, and taking it now, which is better for him and better for the team in the long run.
I'd also hate it if he DID go back to college and then someone else drafted him and he was great! But seems like this kid is focused on making it in the pros even if it means getting less money initially. I like those types of players! Although I think he's really more of a defensive player for us, I'd love for him to be our next 2nd round success story!
Dillon Mitchell drama ends in two-way contract with Celtics
The Boston Celtics have signed rookie Dillon Mitchell to a two-way contract, according to the team. The signing ended a saga in which there was a real possibility that Mitchell could decide to return to St. John's for a fifth year of college basketball.www.bostonsportsjournal.com
I wouldnt call that salty. I'd say pretty professional.Jaylen Brown is salty. Celtics.....JT..
Has Jaylen Brown talked with Jayson Tatum since trade? 'Not really'
Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were teammates for nine years in Boston. On Thursday, Brown said he hasn't really talked with Tatum since being traded.www.nbcsportsboston.com
re: JT. I agree. Salty might not be the right word but I found his response regarding the total lack of communication between he and JT interesting.I wouldnt call that salty. I'd say pretty professional.
Plus, there's an element of loyalty to your current team that some players have, but not all.
That was one of the things we loved about JB.
( and still do about JT).
I never thought the 2 were best buds off the court. But had each others backs as teammates.
I'll agree there was a slight tinge of saltiness for him regarding how the process played out, but not toward JT.
Anyway, it is what is. C's are gonna be fine
Slightly OT:
Two things:
1) This is pitiful & disgusting
2)
wnba: Clown League.
That's not what a couple of their coaches (and some players) have said about trans athletes playing in the W in the past week. The WNBA has nothing to do with Enes Freedom's stupid tweet.
FWIW, their rules don't allow transgender females in their league so it's moot anyway.
I never heard of the guy and NBA ""superstar" lmao. Who wrote this ****? AI?The WNBA has nothing to do with Enes Freedom's stupid tweet.

I googled and he played one season with the C's as a backup( original name was Kanter so I vaguely remember him).
He's not transgender. He's apparently doing as some kind of weird political statement.
I dont get it. Obviously, neither does he.
He did it so he could get this response.
Not in this day and age. But stranger things have happened.I hope the league uses common sense and biology in it's definition.
