I don't see a 7th round pick and UDFA rookie making the squad or the Patriots carrying 5 RBs (including Gilliam) unless they're taking a ST spot

Maybe if they have a breakout preseason but I'm not expecting much from them even in camp. There's no reason to think we can't get them on the PS as other teams will have their own tough cuts to make and will want their own undrafted or barely drafted guys on their own PS

No doubt they have potential but they're not going to see many reps if they make the roster and everyone else is healthy

If health is in doubt for Stevenson, Henderson or Gilliam they'd have Larison and Miller ready to be elevated, but I don't think they'll go overboard at RB and go thin at OL where I expect they'll carry nine at least with Crownover more likely to make the roster rather than the 5th RB or carrying only 24 on D

this is training season PUP. It can be lifted as soon as he passes a physcal.
Agreed. He needs to get on the field MG.

Patriots 1-3 first month of the season. Any doubts? Did they do enough in the offseason, let's see in camp.

Considering the lack of depth, Dippre’s addition to this list is still concerning. He never appeared on last years injury report so when exactly did he get hurt… did he slip and fall in the shower?

Shades of always injured TE’s from the past, Dalton Keene comes to mind.

New England Patriots tight end C.J. Dippre has dealt with a few minor ailments, most notably beginning the 2026 training camp on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list due to an unspecified offseason injury.

A more detailed breakdown of Dippre's injury timeline includes:

  • December 2025: Listed on the Patriots' practice report with a back injury, though he was a full participant and did not carry an injury designation for Week 17.
  • December 2025: Missed practice time due to an illness.
  • College Career (Alabama): Dippre missed 1 game in 4 years (Maryland & Alabama).
AI Generated.

Dippre is a lottery ticket. He didn't make the roster last year until injuries piled up for other teams and had 20 snaps all season.

They are thinnish at TE even with him.
