Maye got the crap kicked out of him for four games. Playoff record for sacks and he had a guy in his face seemingly every play, especially the Texans game and the Super Bowl. Hopefully it was all a learning experience and he’s better about eating the ball instead of fumbling it.

But come Super Bowl, he wasn't in good shape medically and our OL was getting caved in. All of a sudden, all those amazing WRs couldn't do a thing to put us over the edge.

Because the QB couldn't throw and had no time to throw even if he could.

I'm going with the latter... Moss was literally walking routes before he came here and had that year for the ages. Any WR who can separate from Patrick Surtain is alright in my book... because Diggs or Boutte couldn't.

Technically you’re correct, but it’s the same situation as the Garrett deal. And frankly with the “legal tampering” period in free agency. If they’ve fully come to agreement by now, I’m sure it would have been leaked. I’m guessing they’re still negotiating the minor details.

Let's just say he wasn't in sync with his QB. In the Tampa game he had 2 catches on 9 targets. BUT if you look at the video most of the passes were uncatchable. No wonder he was pi**ed.. And the offense was predictable... I think you will see a very happy A J Brown if he ends up in NE.
