He had a six plus year affair. It is obviously not a random lustful affair.

And you have no idea how this will affect him. Some people can compartmentalize their lives. I know of people who can deal with dying spouses (or having a terminal illness themselves) while continuing to work and if you didn't know what they were going through, you wouldn't know they were dealing with adversity.

And how do we know that Vrabel and his wife don't open relationship and he is allowed to date other people? I don't care about his private life, but his wife could have always known about Russini.

We are over two months away from training camp. Odds are good that this will all be over by then.

One problem I see with a lot of posts here is that people think their 'Monday through Friday work week, go to church on Sunday, sleep in the same bed with the same person every night like I've done for the last N years' is a universal experience. It just isn't.

As per compartmentalization, I used to share an office in the days before cell phones and my office mate was on the phone with lawyers way too much. He was in a hot-and-heavy legal action. He was suing his former business partner because he feels agreements were broken when their business was bought out for big bucks. The interesting thing was the person he was suing was his brother. Yet when the brother called and wanted to talk about Thanksgiving, the conversation was 100% normal. Should I bring salad or dessert? Should I pick up Mom or will you do it? I found it insane, but that's how they rolled.

Question then would be if it’s on a temporary basis or for good. I could definitely see a deal where he takes a “year off” lets McDaniels run the show for a year. Then rejoins in a year when the dust settles.

This is the NFL, if he needs to take off a year, he isn't coming back. It's too much of a black eye and a mark of poor judgement.

That being said, now that her career is likely done as an NFL reporter, I could see her writing a book and going scorched earth on the NFL. She probably knows a lot of the inside secrets.

IDK, I think finding out that Vrabel is the father may be worse than not getting the test. Sure you may be paying for someone else's kid until they are 18 or longer, but you also have thought he was your son for a number of years and that kid thinks you are his father. That would **** me up and it would certainly **** up the kid to find out now that I wasn't the father.

But with some of my friends being divorce lawyers, I know a lot people do vindictive things that destroy their children in bitter divorce cases just out of spite to their spouse.
