I'd call the reps for Campbell, Bosa, Wagner, Diggs & Ife from Wuhstah to schedule visits...

It's one thing to want to become "younger, faster, cheaper" but if the holes aren't filled by the end of the month, then you might have to fork-over a couple of bucks for older, slower, more expensive but also more experienced and possibly with more gas in the tank...

Thanks. Lotta interesting names out there; and we still have holes to fill, both as depth and in a couple or so cases as starters...

QB: Maye
RB: Stevenson
WR: Doubs
WR: Boutte
TE: Henry
FB: Gilliam
LT: Campbell
LG: AVT
C: Wilson
RG: Onwenu
RT: Moses

Edge: Jones
Edge: Landry
DT: Barmore
DT: Williams
LB: Spillane
LB: Elliss
CB: Gonzalez
CB: Davis
CB: Jones
S: Woodson
S: Byard

Those are your 11 starters on offense and 11 on defense as of 4/30/26. What "Starters" do the Pats need?
Do they need depth? Sure. Every team has them at this time of year:

Depth questions:
#3QB
#3RB / #4RB / PS1/PS2
PS FB
#3/PS#1/PS#1 TE
#5 WR/PS#1/PS#2/PS#3
OT#3/OT#4/OT#5/PS#1/PS#2
OG#3/OG#4/PS#1/PS#2
OC#3/PS#1

DT#5/DT#6/PS1/PS2
Edge #3/Edge #4/Edge #5/PS1
LB#3/LB#4/LB5/PS1/PS2
CB#4/CB#5/CB#6/PS1/PS2
Saf #3/ Saf #4 / PS1/PS2

Here's the thing. The Pats have numerous returning players who likely slot into many of those roles. They'll be challenged by Rookies and the new vets. There are 20 rookies of the 87 players currently signed.

Camp will be exciting. Not that you care because all you're going to do is whine and ignore the fact that Wolf isn't the guy with the final decision making powers. That's Vrabel with Cowden and Streichen as his senior advisors.

How Arvelle Reese (243 lbs) out-leveraged, stood up & threw an OT to the ground with one arm.
Against a future insurance salesman from Ohio University.
Fortunately, the bar is pretty low to be better than Abdul Carter, their top-5 pick from last year.

Some GM's don't forget

I still think the Pats will (or at least should) sign a veteran LB. They have the cap space. Maybe some of the guys still available are looking for more $ than the Pats want to offer. Or just waiting out the early part of training camp, what have you.

One player that could fit, though he's been hurt 3 years running now, is Matt Milano. We've all seen what a pain in the ass he's been. But his injuries are a big concern and he didn't look very good last year. Plus, he'll be 32 this year. I'd take a look if other players sign elsewhere.

Maybe Okereke or Devin White would want to come here to chase a ring and get another pay day next year.

The draft is over and UDFA have been signed. These UFA's will start coming off the board soon. We should sign a LB, to start with.

Okereke is definitely interesting and seems to fit into the mold that Vrabel is looking for in regards to lighter RBs.. Devin White supposedly is up to 252. If he could lose some of that, he'd be in the area that Vrabel seems to like. Okereke might be more interesting to the Pats since he offers more Special Teams experience than White provides.

The Pats currently have 2 roster slots open, though they could easily open up more..

The Pats do not have a 3rd Offensive Center currently. It will be interesting to see if they kick the tires on someone like Glasgow or Mustipher, bring back Brenden Jaimes or bring in a UDFA.

I think Rizy or whatever his name is, plays Center. Ceiling this year likely PS.

Yes. I have since seen that Rizy played 2 games at center for FSU. One in 2025 and one in 2024. In fact, I saw that he took snaps at all 5 positions in 2025, though LT was only 2 snaps. He DID, however, spend a year playing LT and a year playing RT while at Harvard.
Agreed that he is likely the #3 center behind Wilson and Brown.

This can’t be real no way he’d be in any camp if the height difference was what it looks like here.
