2026 Draft: Running Backs

An RB in the 6th round works for me. Question is...a backup for Rham or Hendo?
Someone with kick return ability, hopefully.

Adam Randall is the popular choice. Has some KR ability, receiving ability, and is big. Could possibly fill a lot of roles. And as the RB3, gets time to further hone is RB skills/instincts.

Black is listed as a 5th/6th rounder by Brugler. Draftscout says he could go anywhere from Priority UDFA to 4th round.

Not sure why there seems to be such a big discrepancy for him..
6th year senior, who is a solid, tough, reliable workhorse between the tackles back, but is 211lb. Fearless in pass protection, but has also shown no receiving production at all (7 targets was his best season).

So he's older, pretty one dimensional, and a combine snub, which is probably why the variance in round grades. The Pats had him in for a 30 visit last week, he'd back up Stevenson on early downs here I imagine.

Bleacher report said his nfl comparison was Monangai.

I haven't included him in any mocks or predictions - I still want to see what Larison can do - but you have to imagine Josh is banging the table for Heidenreich. The only caveat is that Maye is a very different QB to Brady.

That's funny - I have included him in just about every mock since that 6.55 3C.

Kaelon Black and my boy Robert Henry Jr are both 24 but if they can be had on day 3 I'd be ok with that.

Adam Randall on the other hand is only 21 and his receiving ability is pretty elite. And if he can be had even later than the other 2 than that would be ideal.

I like Randall but his poor senior bowl was a little worrying. Had a fumble and didn't look great in pass pro.

Quoting from the 25 thread that got mistaken for this one lol
Jam and Rham could make for a great combo!
Thanks for remembering.

I feel good that I was able to peg two of the guys for the Pats.. still disappointed about Sobkowicz, but that's life
