DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft Day 3

It’s amazing watching certain teams draft, and how good they are year after year… They got some good people there obviously! Getting to the Super Bowl was phenomenal last year, but it really puts you behind in a lot of ways in the draft so I think our guys did the best they could… Just again a bunch of head scratchers trying to figure out what they were thinking, but that’s why they are where they are and we are sitting here at home ….. welcome to the Patriots to all that got drafted in those that will be coming on as UDFA

The worst part is they took the div 2 QB who was probably the second best QB prospect in this class.

If Jalen Hurts keeps shrinking, they might have an alternative now.

Him and Leveon Moss were 2 guys I had was tracking as late rd picks last year if they declared.

Fine. The point is people continue to glaze the Eagles but to me (and I don’t follow the draft as closely as some) their class this year isn’t that special at all.

It takes real divergent thinking to not follow the crowd.

The Pats can be good drafters but conservative.

It takes balls to ignore what peers will criticize and simply do what you think it the best move.

Agree here, I think Burks is a poor man's Tyreek... can't believe somebody didn't take him.

Sturdiviant is the best of the rest big tall WR's.

More explosive and athletic, and Branch was both of those things.

I don't use the Tyreek Hill comparison lightly, he's one of the most athletic prospects ever... generational speed, explosion and agility.

Burks is a poor man's version of that. I'd want him as a returner alone. He must have a secret criminal history.

I saw him move up as high as rd 2 in a lot of mocks.
There's something fishy here.

One has to wonder if Vrabel not being there played any part.
If this is Wolf's work in Vrabs absence, I may be back on the hating wagon.
