I want a player at #31 that can contribute from day 1.
does not have to be an immediate "starter", but needs to play meaningful snaps every week.

unless there is an injury, I do not expect an OT to be there at #31 that would supplant Campbell or Moses. But, if the team saw an OT at #31 that could rotate a couple of series each week, I would have interest.
same with WR or TE. I don't expect a rookie at #31 to come in and play major snaps over Boutte, Doubs, Hollins or Henry. but they would need to get meaningful snaps every week.

I think I would do the 31 for 40 and a 2nd next year.

We can still get a player at a position of need at 40 and that # 2 next year could be gold.

We already have the Bears’ 5th for Bradbury. I’d love the Pats to get as many 2027 picks as possible.

That would even give the Pats a viable option if they are determined to trade for Brown.

I wouldn't do it with a team that's going to be good.

5 OT are gone before us plus 5 DE's are gone and 5 WR are gone before our pick. No TE projected to go in the first. TE is the pick for us, full stop! Lets GO!

Devin Lloyd had an All-Pro season with 5 INTs and signed for 15M APY. The NFL doesn’t value the LB position and outside of Fred Warner you don’t want one of them covering slot WRs/TEs.

Henry is a liability as a blocker and is slowing down as a receiver. The TE value isn’t there at 31 but they should think about trading up in round 2 & picking their favorite one. They haven’t had a dual threat TE since Gronk left & this draft is arguably the deepest ever at the position.

Round 1 will come down to if they think Miller/Iheanachor or Lawrence/Parker/Young is a better prospect. I lean OT as of now because they are so hard to get.

OT, got to get ready to replace an aging Morgan.

What metric says Henry is slowing down? I mean, you figure he has to at some point, but he's coming off a year in which he had career highs in yardage and yards per catch.

I agree. Henry had a couple of drops late in the season and people are writing him off. He's been Maye's most reliable receiver.

Edge, OT, LB. Anthony Hill Jr still remains as my top target, but if we are going strictly position it's still edge with TJ Parker my top choice at the backend of the 1sr Rd.

Are you guys serious? Havent you learned over the last 20 years how to select draft picks. Its only two rules!

Must be from Rutgers and cannot be taller than 5'10!

My favorite draft simulations to date… I think. I don’t really trust these draft generators to be accurate to how real life will play out, but I guy can hope.

I “want” WR”, I want explosive weapons for Maye. I know it’s selfish, but I’m answering the question.

That being said, I’d be happy with one of Tackle, Edge, WR or TE (if somehow Sadiq or Stowers were there).

I think TEs Sadiq & Stowers will both be drafted in the 1st round. Hopefully it’ll be us getting one of them.
