FFS now we're taking Jason F'n Whitlock putting word in Kraft's AND Brady's mouths seriously???

I decided to take a chance and read the article. It was incredible how many quotes were used and how they implied that they were coming from Kraft or Brady.

And what happened to Damian Woody? I've seen him knock the Pats before.

Remember when this board unanimously dismissed Dr. Chao’s opinion on Drake Maye’s shoulder.
This board has an overwhelming tendency to lampoon any story that puts NE or its in players in unfavorable light.
Sure…..This latest story is pure theory and speculation, but there are plenty of truths that ,when stacked one on top of the next, certainly can lead to such suppositions.
I had similar speculation on this long before this article.

I’ll add my own two cents…..
Zero chance Jonathon would ever have allowed Robert to sell Brady a slice of the team. The fanbase would clamor for Brady involvement, especially when the fortunes of the team dip, thus neutering Jonathon.
Look what’s going on in Vegas right now.

There is no truths to this story. Whitlock is a just a crap stirrer.

Brady didn’t buy a piece of the Patriots because he couldn’t afford it. He bought a piece of the Raiders because Mark Davis got fleeced. Brady has input in the team because Davis is a moron and an absentee owner.

And I don’t think Raiders fans are clamoring for Brady’s involvement since the Raiders have been the worst team in the league since Brady bought into the team and he was involved in decisions. The Carroll regime was a bigger disaster than the Mayo regime. Raiders fans put the blame on Carroll and Geno Smith on Brady.

And I don't get the whole demonizing of Jonathan Kraft. From most of the reports, Jonathan's feelings about how the team should be run is more in line with the fans than his father. Reportedly he was the one who saw that it was time to move on from Belichick and then Mayo faster than his father and reportedly had to talk his father into letting Belichick go. Belichick reportedly didn't like Jonathan in part because he believed in modernizing the scouting and analytics and sports sciences while Belichick wanted to do it his way because it worked for the dynasty years.

Kraft can sell whatever he owns to whomever he wishes.

Look, Tom was a great QB, but he's kind of a jerk. He was OUR jerk for a long time, so we declined to take notice.

Similar, of course, can be said of Bill.

So it goes. I have an ongoing beef with my siblings, all of whom love to go on about about how "nice" their doctor or dentist or lawyer is. So what, I say: why would I care about a guys' social skills when I hire him to do a root canal? My cardiologist s a real tool, but he knows his business.

Both Bill and Tom have crossed the Rubicon and entered into the land of downright weirdness. Tom is like some weird plastic Ken-doll clone. Bill is embarrassing tabloid fodder, so far 'round the bend that I worry he may never find his way back.

Thanks for the memories, fellas. Best of luck, and good riddance.

I decided to take a chance and read the article..

Oh I read it, it was at Yahoo so Whitlock wasn't getting a click out of my taking a look in search of a laugh. Sadly, not a chuckle in it just...

This forum has gotten so weird since Brady left in 2020. There’s an obsession with the Brady, Belichick and Kraft relationship and who did what or who’s to blame for what went down
There's just such a disappointing lack of perspective among so many 'fans' that I can't fathom. WTH people It's all behind us, wasted time spent looking in the rearview smdh

Funny but this is also how the Cowboys dynasty ended, and the bad blood between Jerrah and Jimmy is still there to this day!

Much like Jerrah, Kraft wants to prove it was him, Belichick wants to say it was him, and Brady wants to say it was him. None of them seem to be able to agree on the fact that A doesn't happen without B and C.

If I was Brady (aside from the numerous acts of debauchery with a litany of ridiculous hot women), I would never forgive either one of them for throwing him under the bus with deflategate! Especially Kraft!!

But I doubt Brady even wanted to buy part of the Patriots. Brady has no ties to this region anymore. He seems to only want to be in a place where his kids are or a destination place. He would rather be spending time in Vegas than the Boston area.

Can't blame him. No fam/connection to the area, what's the point? To make your kids fly up to you when they come see you? Nah...

Lots of posters left when Brady left because: A. They felt betrayed Tom would do that and B. it exposed BB. No HC can win without good QB play, but their narrative for 20 years that Bill carried everyone blew up in their faces.

It's going on a 7-year obsession. I don't get it either.
You fellas understand we talked about Babe Ruth for 86 years, right?

Yes, I know... it's absolutely amazing that a town with so many Irishmen would actually hold grudges....

The two year Cowboy dynasty?
