Can the Seahawks and media stop the whining about the Malcom Butler play now? Can that be the silver lining here? So ****ing tired of that. 2 weeks worth.

And these ****ing Seahags fans just came out from under a rock. Never seen one untill today in Denver. **** them.

There is a good deal of truth in this. We seemed predictable on first down in the playoffs - especially on the first series of a drive. I thought we would run the ball well in the playoffs - we did not.
I’ve felt the thing we have to do for the offense to run best is make explosive plays, get 1st downs on 1st and second down.
But the pass protection has been soooo bad that I’m beginning to think they decided playing good defenses they had to reduce the risk of negative plays, let the D dominate and pick their spots. Not best for putting up points, but maybe best for winning. It worked 3 times, the 4th we just couldn’t get it to click.

Yes people were saying he wouldn’t be worth whatever we pay him. Some even said they hope he struggled so his price tag would go down. Weird logic. Gonzo is a stud.
Gonzo is going to get PAID.

We'll see if he wants to stay for what we offer but it will need to be A LOT.

I hear you. Then we didn’t do what needed to be done at the trade deadline.
Agree so much. I would have loved to have landed Shaheed, or especially Jacobi Meyers at the trade deadline. Shaheed would’ve added speed to the offense. Maybe we can sign him in free agency. Meyers would’ve added much needed route running getting open, and good hands that could’ve helped the offense.

It's called being a fan...do you know fan is short for? Fanatic. Why do you care? Why do you get your Pats panties in a bunch when people rip the team. Its what fans do.
You more fall along the lines of brain rot

Agree. Not sure what help was out there but yeah we should have added.
Ultimately though we finished #2. That pretty freaking good and I honestly don’t know how anyone should be criticized for that

Again, all personnel demands. McDaniels will call based on his personnel. And Maye is included in that; it's a very special few who can do both very well.

Also it's just straight up extremely difficult to build an offense with receivers that both are explosive and big like ours, but also surgical options like Welker or Edelman, AND keep Rham and Hendo.

That statement essentially becomes "We need a perfect offense with no weaknesses"
People want everything and it's not gonna happen. You might get a new LT, but you won't get a guard. You might get an edge guy, but you won't get the WR.

Teams don't get everything. Maye was horrific in the 1st half. I bet the film will show plenty of guys NFL open, he just refused to throw the ball.

There are only 11 guys on defense. Those 11 guys can only be in so many places at once. There shouldn't be many coverages he hasn't seen over the course of the regular season and the playoffs. Next year will be very telling because they play a real NFL schedule. I've got them for 10 wins next season. Hope thats enough.

Maye has to be light years better though. No more fumbles, no more sacks or I would be happy with half the number of both. If the trend continues then it's really not good.

Oh and Gonzo just got PAID after tonight. Have fun with that one Vrabel and Elliot.

On what do you base Maye's "resiliency" ? His comeback vs Tyler huntley? His "comeback" vs Jarrett Stidham? We have no proof that Maye is resilient? He's play very poorly vs every playoff defense.
The team won four games last year. He is 23 years old. He's not hot-headed. He'll be fine. The sky is not falling we made it to the SB, he's smart and he learns. This are known factors about Maye.

Brother do you even know what it takes to gameplan?

Personnel that executes.

The Patriots did not do that on offense tonight.
I don’t think he even really knows how to properly execute his grub hub deliveries

Meyers made Trevor Lawrence look legit for a minute.

Imagine what he could have done for Drake as a safety net instead of forcing to Boutte and Diggs.

They lost to Sam ****ing Darnold. That's is embarrassing. Josh mcdaniels couldn't scheme it enough to score ONE ****ing TD in the first half. ONE TD and it's a completely different game
Tom Brady lost to Nick Foles, Eli Manning twice.

Elite quarterbacks carry you to 11-12-13 win seasons every year that's where their value is consistently getting you to the playoffs

Line of scrimmage is what wins these big championship games we've often we seen the better QB lose to the inferior pumpkin because of the pass rush completely taking control of the game.

If Drake Maye is consistently a top 6-7 QB the only guarantee is the Patriots will be a consistent playoff team over the next 10 years but it takes more than just the QB to win it all.

There is a small irony that after this entire season we are back to complaining about our offense
