I had forgotten ( back half of draft & we were at 4), so I looked it up (wiki): NOT ONLY A 26 1st, but also 25 3d & 7th.LOL

Pearce was drafted in the first round with the 26th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draftby the Atlanta Falcons.[13] The Falcons traded up with the Los Angeles Rams to pick Pearce, giving up the 2026 first-round pick as well as a 2025 third and 2025 seventh.[14] In Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings Pearce recorded his first career sack, taking down Vikings QB JJ McCarthy.[15]

Legal issues​

On February 7th 2026, Pearce was arrested in Miami-Dade County, Florida on two charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated stalking. Pearce was arrested after crashing his vehicle following a police chase and resisting arrest.

That was one of the reasons I wanted nothing to do with him. His character was a huge red flag.

Whether it's free agency or the draft character matters, sometimes little things are overblown, and you need to be able to see past them to who the person really is, other times the red flags tell you who they really are.
