2026 Draft: RT

I intentionally left that door open for you ..

CJ Allen, Zachariah Branch, Dayson Everett, Christen Miller and Oscar Delp would also work.

So I'm biased.

My current RT rough order:

1. Monroe Freeling
2. Francis Mauigoa
3. Max Iheanachor
4. Caleb Lomu
5. Spencer Fano
6. Blake Miller
7. Kadyn Proctor
8. Dametrious Crownover
9. Austin Barber
10. Fa'alili Fa'amoe
11. Keagan Trost

Hmmm. Interesting.

Dane Brugler on Blake Miller

"If you're going to rank every player in this draft in terms of football character, he might be top 5 based on what scouts have told me, talking to his coaches and teammates. They just rave about this guy. Captain that plays through any type of ailment. In four years at Clemson, he missed a grand total of one practice and that's because he broke his wrist. (note - he even had surgery on the wrist).

There are things about his profile that worry me. He's very upright in his posture and he's not a great bender. I do think savvy NFL rushers are going to be able to break him down but I just think the foot quickness, the physical demeanour...the physical traits, the football IQ, the competitive toughness - that's what NFL teams bet on".

That's exactly the type of player Vrabel bets on. He sounds just like Will Campbell. Also, he's supposed to have 35" arms - so not like Will Campbell.

The great things are great.

The worrisome things are worrisome.

Option #4 for me after Freeling, Iheanachor and Lomu.

Tied with Iheanachor for me. I'll wait on the combine to get more info on Lomu like size.

Proctor has always intrigued me ever since I followed him as a high school recruit, but he plays with an extremely narrow base for a dude his size and that, paired with his tendency to lean instead of continuing to move laterally when he starts to lose outside leverage makes me skeptical like most of you about his ability to stick at tackle in the NFL.

Obviously it's been said, but I think he would be an All-Pro guard from the get go. His power is off the charts and he's extremely difficult to move backwards on a bull rush, plus he can erase multiple defenders just because of his sheer bulk. While he possesses elite length, he doesn't always utilize it optimally. Compared to someone like Trent Brown, who has always had a knack for making himself even longer than he already is with his wide base and hand positioning.

I do think he could be developed into a serviceable tackle who would dominate in the run game but struggle with elite bend on the edge, but his potential at guard is just way, way higher.

Blake Miller moving in space.

I love this kid. Could add ten pounds easily and that should make him a little more consistent in the run game. Otherwise he's got all the athletic traits, technique is great and the effort is impressive. Real balanced OL class this year.

I just talked myself off the Freeling bandwagon because I don’t think he will be near available to us. So I’m going to try and save my disappointment by moving on.
Blake Miller and Max Iheanachor….
