I don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow, it may be glorious, he may **** the bed, we don't know, but he is 3-0 in the playoffs and that's a great start, ugly or not, struggling or not, those were games in the elements, against good/great defenses, and he got the W, found a way to win, with his legs if needed. In the playoffs, what matters is getting the W, not having fantasy football, porn stats games.

My point is that is that having a head start in the playoffs might do wonders in the future, he already got huge playoff experiences, many QBs take a lot of time to take that heaviness out of their backs, getting that first playoff W. He's got the experience in the biggest stage, regular season games although important, very of course, will not carry the same weight, he's gonna play the regular season in a more relaxed flow, knowing that's nothing compared to a playoff game. Doesn't need to play superhero anymore, if it's a game to lose, OK, take the L and improve for the next, that might even save some games instead of throwing a stupid pick in the 4th quarter, just play what the game is giving to you and that usually favors the better teams, teams that play smart, mistake free football.

I'm very happy with the outcome of this season looking at the future, obviously I want that one more win tomorrow, but we are in a great position with Vrabel in charge and Maye at the QB. Kudos to Kraft Aka Thunder for making this possible firing Mayo and hiring a competent coaching staff.

Has Sam Darnold even made the playoffs before this year?

The same is true of winning a Super Bowl. Until you do it you haven’t done it. Let’s get it done.

Though Maye has not played up to his standards he did make enough plays to win.

The AFCC win Maye scored the only TD and sealed the win on his 3rd down run.
The Divisional win Maye threw 3 TDs.
The Wildcard win Maye threw 1 TD and rushed for 6.6 ypc.

Then add all the times that the Pats were in FG range. Made some and missed some, but Brady won Suoerbowls getting the Kicker into range to score.

So, you cannot say that Maye did not contribute to the Pats winning the last 3 games. You can have an all world defense, but you still need points to win.

I agree with his point though. I went into this season hoping for a playoff spot and experience playing in a playoff game, Maye and the Patriots have gone way beyond that and are already legit contender going into the upcoming seasons. Much as I want a win today they have gotten great experience this season, and that will pay off for them in the future:

Yep, one and done last year. “The Patriots’ QB has more career playoff victories than the Seahawks’” is one stat I haven’t seen about this game!

I'm Greedy now all or nothing: I want it to sting in our rivals stomachs.

Would love for T Henderson and Kyle Williams to break a couple like they did in the Bucs Game. It's been a while.

Last year he lost to the Rams in the Vikings first playoff game.

A loss will not decimate the organization (unless they are maybe on the wrong side of a SB 49/51 type incident). In a few weeks, it will be looked at as mostly a successful season. Nothing is ever guaranteed. But a team with a great HC, QB, good defense, and excellent ownership will be in the mix more times than not.

Maybe a loss would be similar to losing SB 20 or 31? It sucks. But not soul crushing like 2007.

The Patriots second year QB has one more playoff win than the 8th year starting QB taking snaps for Seattle.

8th year?

2018 was only three years ago!

...right?
