i wish i could believe that... but I do not.

He's going to the game on his own free will. He wants to be a part of it. He wants the pats to win. Imo.

Im glad all are not as cynical as i am

Lost in the sauce of all the blowout predictions for Seattle including Patrick Surtain saying 35-7 which obviously could happen because it can happen in any game, the Vegas spread despite all the pro Seattle sentiment is still only 4.5 points.

This is not some kind of Rams-Patriots or Giants-Pats 07 double digit huge upset, trust me as someone who worked in the gambling industry the modelling these people have for these games is way more sophisticated and involves much smarter people than fans who sit and watch the game with a few beers, they are right much more than they are wrong which is why you have CEOs of these companys being paid 20m a year.

The 2001 Rams were winning games with margins, on average, about 8 points bigger than the Patriots.

The 2025 Seahawks? About 1 point bigger.

A bunch of Broncos have said stuff like this, not only Surtain but Bonitto and Sutton too, and maybe more.

Imagine being Jarrett Stidham knowing that your teammates think you suck so bad they blame you for the loss.

And the poor guy had to go up against the Patriots defense in a blizzard.

You mentioned a couple of guys who pretty much no-showed the AFCCG. Surtain was excellent, might have played his best game of the year.

Tom Brady not pulling for Patriots in Super Bowl LX: 'I don't have a dog in the fight' Tom Brady not pulling for Patriots in Super Bowl LX: 'I don't have a dog in the fight'

hey Tom...

Brady also picked Stafford for 2025 MVP.

He does not like that the Pats are having this kind of success so soon. His worst nightmare is for Maye to lead the Pats to victory.

Hugeeeee chip on every players shoulders. I feel they are going to wallop the Seahawks ...

Agree. Kraft really blew it by not getting Brady involved in Pats ownership.
Although he pays lip service to the organization which has a statue of him outside the stadium and has honored him several times he really seems to have divorced himself from the organization.
20 years playing for Kraft and in Foxboro and he does not root for the team at all?
Sad.

Its not a great look for the organization

And to that i say...

Meh, there's no real analysis here among these so-called experts, just an echo chamber repeating low-effort takes based on almost no research and very little of the "eye test". They're essentially smelling their own farts. They made up "bUt TeH sCHeDUule" and have written off the Pats D completely and now they're buying their own propaganda line.

**** in, **** out, I guess...

I feel like everyone actually thinks the Pats will win.

Yeah, I've had a lot of folks from all corners of the country tell me they think the Pats will somehow overcome the odds and pull it off. There's a sense of dread among fans that this is actually the case.

I’m not surprised that the media are overwhelmingly picking Seattle. On paper their roster is top-to-bottom slightly better at nearly every position…except one.

But this is where anti-Patriots bias comes into play. Surely someone is going to argue, “the Patriots are better at the most important position”. No? Bueler?

The Stafford thing is bizarre. Brady used the fact that Stafford has had an illustrious NFL career. The award is for 2025 and not a lifetime body of work. Whatever, I don't care if Maye gets MVP or not. Just win another WC banner to hang at Gillete.

I believe that Brady wanted to be his own man with NFL ownership. They say that Brady is running the show in Vegas. He was bragging on Clint Kubiak during the NFCC and low and behold Kubiak is the Vegas HC. Also, Orchid Day Spa was bad, but if this Epstein/ Kraft thing is real crap will be hitting the fan in Foxboro.

I can't blame anyone in the media for picking Seattle. You would too if you weren't a Pats fan.
As my Nebraska pals say, you don't know ****.

Like some other have said, if you’re not a Pats fan, you’re putting your $ on Seattle this year. I’m fairly certain everyone other than us fans are still having nightmares from the first 2 dynasties that owned the NYFL. Only way they would be taking the pats is if they had 30+ years of Browns level play and ownership. Even though we put up with a few bad years of Scam, Mac, losing records, and watching the Billdos excel in the regular season, fans other than us want the Pats to fail miserably. Honestly I’m glad. This provides that extra little bump to put them over the edge on the way to Dynasty 3…

Agree it’s not a great look but with all the stank about him not being able to be a part of the Pats ownership post retirement, could it be that he just does not want to be a part of or cause any drama with the team? With how the NYFL operates, I honestly do not blame him. These days, who knows what kind of grudge they’re still holding, which will of course now worsen due to their comeback….Has Tom “had a dog in the fight” for the Bucs? If yes he has, then I would say yes he has a beef with the Pats which would be sad…

I guess so if that's what you call the ability to be objective.

We all we got. We all we need.

Like ****, no one is objective.

one?

Pats are better it interior DL, better at CB, better at QB, better at TE...at the very least

I've never bought the premise that Kraft had to have Brady as a part owner.

What would be the benefit?
