Am I the only one who hates this new "Warriors" thing they do?? Vrabel starting his AFCCG trophy interview with a big effeminate holler was the worst decision he's made all year. Which is to say - I've loved almost everything he's done & said until that.
Eww, let's just drop that one quick. Maybe use the offseason to find a new callout.

On that note - I was rewatching the '14 SB highlights on the NFL marathon and couldn't believe that that Seahawks team actually had the "we all we got..." mantra!?! Isn't that weird? I think it's up to us, the fans, to think up something good and start it at training camp.
YES !

I believe the Seahawks and Patriots will be in the same room tonight for media availability. Both QB's are side by side and talk. Anyone ever watch this stuff?

I was always an Andrew Luck supporter. Obviously, he plays for an old rival but he was an excellent young prototype QB who was dealt a ****ty hand ownership-wise. Had he ever gotten a competent OL (outside of 2018), I believe he’d be a HOF QB. Besides holding onto the ball a bit too long at times, he had it all.

Besides soon to be SB MVP Drake Maye shredding them, this is the reason we’ll win on Sunday; because we’re the better team with the better brain trust.

Okay, I'll be that guy just for discussions sake...since this is New England and many of us grew up with nothing but morose feelings of inevitable failure given the Red Sox and Patriots records of ineffectiveness. This is simply channeling that for a moment before we get to our regularly scheduled debates...

What if Maye IS actually injured?

That those throws that weren't just misses but flat out turf balls were from pain not weather? That he can't throw with velocity past ten yards right now?

(okay that was it. Not dwelling and not even believing, but wanted to put it out there just in case).
I expect Stephenson to get 20+ carries. He carried 25 times against Denver. Henderson wasn't really utilized. He's probably dinged up but he's got a really good pokerface if it's serious. I think vrabel loves to mess with people psychologically. I think vrabel wants to make this a physical brawl

I am more concerned about Offense scoring points than D holding SEA to a manageable score.
On offense, hoping McDaniels will consider unleashing Kyle Williams.
Separation by WR's against SEA DB's could be major challenge for offense.

I like the idea of intermittent no huddle early in game.
Would also like to see more production from Henry
Your gonna see a lot of handoffs. Vrabel is going to manage this game, keep it close and grind it out

Two of Seattle’s three losses this year have come when JSN has had 9 receptions (season high).

If it's a close game, the element of luck (Tyree, Kearse etc) comes in to play. That can be uncomfortable. The Patriots should play to score at every opportunity and try to blow them out. Seattle will try to do the same.

They need to win or lose this game with their best player (Maye) airing it out like he did during the regular season.

If the Pats rattle Darnold early and wipe out Walker, the ghosts will win the game for the Pats.
Big question is: can the Patriots win this game even if Darnold has a great game? It may take near perfection on offense.

Super Bowls can get weird. Look at 2003. If you said going in Jake Delhomme would throw for 323 and 3 TDs 0 picks what would you say the NEPs chances would be?

If the Patriots were a defense first type team at that point, probably not good. Tom Brady won them that SB and it often gets overlooked because of other SB wins.

Agree. Interestingly enough, in 03 they were a d-first unit but when it mattered, Tom went off.

I just did some research. It appears the Patriots suffered some key injuries on defense. That probably explains the second half implosion on defense.

But yeah. Brady's first elite SB game. 29 points should win alot of SB's. He got the Patriots to 32.

They lost Rodney, Geno and Poole the 2nd 1/2. Law was banged up. The 2nd 1/2 was a **** show.
