5" of powder snow here and 2 degrees, but the sun is out.

The media predicted much worse like always.

Yes Way, especially since the next game isn’t for two weeks. By the end of the game it could be two inches an hour. Last weeks game ended around 6:30 and I didn’t get home until 11:00 because of the snow and traffic, that was only 4 or 5 inches of snow.

Can you get access to a generator?

Powerboost F150 trucks are perfect for these weather events.
I’ve got a 3500w generator that will help with small appliances and whatever. Going to get a bigger one to be able to power the downstairs heat pump/air. So far so good though. Plenty of beer and food…

Now that is scary. My time in the mid-Atlantic gave me a healthy fear of ice. Keep everything warm and charging at all times!
Yes sir, hanging in there so far

NE is a beautiful place to live.

Got it all - ocean, mountains, cities, Pro sports fever, but the winter is a drag.
Luckily the true winter is fairly short even though it feels long.

As a sports fan I feel blessed. I've seen from Russell to Maye and everyone in between in every sport. And all within and hour's ride until I moved away 6 years ago.

Do you have heat pumps throughout?

Getting apocalyptic here. Full on ice storm after the snow fell. Lots of power outages and trees falling on powerlines. I can hear trees snapping out back, sounds like thunder. Still have power for now, needs to stay on for the game!
yikes, not having the game available would truly be apocalyptic!

I found the NE winter to drag on not wanting to let go.

My car was always dirty. Where I am now winter is about 3 months and pretty much over by St Pats day.

When I was a kid I used to walk up hill both ways to school barefooted in the snow. Kids these days are soft.

I woke up to another beautiful day in southern CA. Going to be clear skies and 67 degrees!

Vancouver here. Been between about 40F - 55F this winter. We haven’t had a drop of snow. Looks like today will be our coldest day at 40F. Stay safe everyone

One of my long term goals is to get a van so I can convert it into a camper and drive South during the Winter to never have to deal with this crap ever again. I loathe Winter.

They wouldn't change a thing. TV $ would trump any safety concerns.

5 inches here outside Philly and still coming down... Too bad it isn't a home game........
