It occurred to me that I haven't noticed the minutemen firing after a TD lately.... but I do use a DVR and skip non-playing time a lot. So I tried to look it up.

This is the AI slop that I got.

You may want to turn that phrase into an actual question: "Do the Patriots Minutemen still fire their muskets after every score in 2025?"

It's all about what you input. "A.I." is actually pretty stupid when you think about it.

I'm an old school searcher... wasn't looking to make an AI query, google just throws it up there. Usually they aren't that bad. No idea how it came to the conclusion that the Pats lost!

Wouldn’t surprise me if the NFL said the rifle firing wasn’t to be broadcast on the TV. After all, the NFL made all the teams where “choose love” on the back of their helmets. Guns would contradict that,

On a slight tangent: it's kinda stupid to use ChatGPT, etc., to do calculations, since that's not what they're built for, but there's something really screwy if telling them to act like a Star Trek character significantly improves their accuracy.

Like guns and cars and anything else AI can be a good tool when used properly. I personally love it, but when it's not used properly or you take it as the gospel it can be an issue.

First all, I attend all home games and don't even notice the minutemen volley unless I'm looking at the north end zone. Second, why does this even matter to you? And finally, you need to realize we're living in the Matrix comprising infinite alternate realities. Houston actually DID win -- if you happen to be a Texans fan. Your screen shot is just a minor glitch.

Guns would not contradict the message. Gun violence probably would.

AI only regurgitates what is the most common information that it can find. It's not necessarily truthful information. It's fun to go over to "X" to as GROK 3.0 something, have him get it wrong, and then walk it through why it's wrong.. |

What's being passed for A.I. is not. True A.I. would be able to tell truth from fiction regardless of how many times it's found in articles on the Internet.

There are plenty of people who believe that if you eliminated all the guns, that there would be no violence in the United States.

Given the way AIs aggregate and average information, getting specific facts right is always going to be a weak point. This leads to errors that look comical to humans and IMO makes us underestimate how frighteningly smart the AIs already are.

If you want to know football stats, look them up in a stats database. If you want to, say, predict the weather or identify new disease-fighting drugs, ask an AI.

Well, we managed 8 posts before the first political rage baiting. Stay classy.

All AI is worse now than it ever will be.

You found today's evanescent Achilles heel of AI
They're based on LLMs that blindly sift thru whatever is out on the net. The AIs TODAY do not know enough to go to say NFL.COM or Patriots.com to answer such a question as posed like a human would. Instead it picks up old cruft that's widely disseminated and crafts a response.
This will change.

Imagine being a software developer. "here is ai, use it". Its like working with a genius that has dementia. One moment its solving the problems of the universe, then it wonders into the ditch and pee's
on a weed.
