Josh McDaniels had the Best Training on how to run a Organization. Him coming from the BB/Brady Dynasty and still couldn't replicate it in two places...what does that tell you??
To be fair, nobody has really done well from the BB tree

If Josh were smart, he'd just stay here and enjoy coaching Drake Maye. I would not want to deal with Kyler "Studying the Playbook Had to Be Put In My Contract" Murray.

Why would he accept that? Successful people work hard to taken challenges and improve. They don’t admit they can’t do something because you think it .
Maybe, but they do admit when they do not want to do something. Some people know that they excel in a certain role and do not want to move to something else.

I have known people that did not want promotions because it would take them out of their day to day job and they enjoyed their situation and did not want to disrupt it.

I read something about JMD saying he is happy where he is. I really hope he's not considering jumping again. The Cardinals are a mess and are going start completely over again with a QB. Sure, they have McBride & Wilson, but not much else. Good luck.

That depends upon a head coach or GM being willing to run Erhardt Perkins knowing that if MacDaniels was fired they would be hard pressed to find a replacement. There are very few offensive coordinators running E-P.
The fact that you brought up EP makes me wonder if the assistant coaches are absorbing the system seeing the success they have had and will be leaning on that in the future. Could be a rash of young EP practitioners in the future.

They definitely have to plan for MacDaniels taking a head coaching job at some point, I just don't believe he will go anywhere for 2-3 more years, and the lack of availability of E-P coordinators is a reason I think he committed to more than 1season.

And if he goes anywhere in the next couple of seasons they have to pay him more than his Raiders contract or he takes a pay cut.

Offensive coordinator is what what he excels at. He should stick to that. Not everybody is cut out to be a Head Coach which is more managerial.

I agree with this, when i see Vrabel talk to the group, every man in that Locke room is bought in, and believes.

I don't think Josh is entertaining any offers. But the Arizona position must be tempting for him. Josh loves blowing up rosters and cutting established qbs like he did Cutler and Carr. Kyler"I dont study"Murray would be like catnip.

Josh probably fantasizes about cutting Murray day 1 and then offering us every draft pick that organization has for the next 10-15 years for Drake Maye lol.
