Hey everyone been a while since I posted. Hate to make this a new thread but I couldn't find anything about it. Me and my buddy are hitting the game Sunday night. Been a good 10 years since I've had to captain a football trip lol. Was just wondering if it's worth buying a parking pass instead of just paying general admission at the stadium. Pros and cons. Thank you.

You can't buy a parking pass for the lots near the stadium unless you're a season ticket holder & you have to pre-buy the whole season (and all playoff games). You cannot "pay as you go" for those parking lots.

The parking lots across Route 1 are free. There are two parking lots behind those free lots where they pay you park, but they make you wait 75 minutes after the game ends before you can leave it. You have to get a pass for those lots in advance and they may all be gone by now.

Pay to park in a private satellite lot (on Route 1) north or south of the stadium, you'll have to walk a ways but will get out a lot quicker afterward.

Tell me more. Last time I went they had general parking labeled like P1 P2 etc etc as from what I remember. Is that not available anymore? I'm looking at at the map now and It's completely different

Where exactly is that?

You'll see them driving toward the stadium along Route 1 coming from either direction. They'll be visible about 1.5 miles-1 mile from the stadium. Just make sure you go early; that is, aim to park at least a good 90 minutes before kickoff -- important since this is a playoff game.

Oh im planning on getting there no later than 3:30 haha. Just trying to be prepared that's all. Used to just pay $50 and get into the general parking lot. No worried about rushing out of there.

I don't know when the private lots open for a night game, 3:30 might be a bit early.

Is it true parking is awful near the stadium?

I fully agree with parking in a private lot on rt 1. I come from RI so I park about a mile south of the stadium in a lot on the west side of rt 1 so I don’t have to cross traffic when leaving. It is not really any cheaper, but it is a lot easier getting in and out. I usually get there 75-90 minutes before the game. It’s an easy walk if you’re healthy.

Do the free lots open around then? On their website now and seeing lots don't open till 4 Sunday. Think I am just going to wing it early and sit on the side of the road if I have too and wait for the generic lots to open. Didn't know the changes for parking. I used to always park in lot 16 near Bass Pro Shops back in the day, then I find out its reserved now lol smh. Thanks for all of your help. Go Pats!

The Patriots lots don't open until 4:00 and people getting there early generally snarl up Route 1 as they queue up waiting for them to open. I target getting there about 30 minutes after they open to avoid that mess.

Before I bought STM parking in Lot 3A, I always parked in the private lot behind Dunkin' Donuts on the northbound site of Route 1. It's about a mile walk and takes about 30 minutes to the stadium. Easy out onto Route 1 North after the game too.

I did the they pay you to park and loved it. We did the pro shop and hall after the game, so it worked out perfectly. But that was also for a 1 p.m. game.

Have fun get loud!!!

Did you reserve a pass from that spot or did you just roll up to it that day? Saw on the website you can reserve a pass.

Leaning towards general parking, coming from 495 I'm assuming its the yellow lots according to the website.
