Rashee Rice is becoming a model citizen by the year. What will he do next??

Meanwhile Travis Kelce:

You cant hate them enough. Im glad they’re not in the playoffs. Hopefully won’t be back for a while.
Do we know when Kelce, Thornton and other Chiefs players were wearing these T-shirts? Is there any possibility they showed support because Rice was pushing his innocence narrative and they wanted to show support?

I wonder how they feel now that she’s posting these damning images?

I thought it was reported that Barmore's ex-GF gave the police pictures and that they were included in the Court Filing against him..
I didn’t get to see them. Do they look as bad as these ^ photos or do they look like self inflicted red marks?

I want to “believe all woman,” but in the real world people lie… especially when a payday is involved. This is why I said earlier in the case of both our players… wait for the evidence.

Somebody beat the hell out of Rice’s girlfriend… he has a history of being stupid. Not definitive, but it looks pretty bad… and he’s not a Tyreek Hill talent where everyone will look the other way.

Why this simply can’t be, I’ve been assured by mediawhores like Peter King for years that the Hunt family are people of unassailable integrity, right there with the saintly Mara and Rooney families who would never countenance an employee of theirs acting in an untoward manner.

Every franchise in this league cheats and employees criminal level scumbags to the extent practicable. The difference is some of them are covered intensely but their local and national media while others are given a permanent license to continue.

Still waiting for an explanation about why the Chiefs most recent 1st round pick simply walked away from his team for 3 weeks in the middle of the season. Apparently that wasn’t newsworthy enough to stimulate interest. Hey look, it’s Taylor Swift!!

Wishing they were Her because she's going to cash in.

Not sure if this is sarcasm...if so haha

But if you are asking a serious question let me share some knowledge as I have seen a couple other posts regarding our players and about a "victim" wanting to or not wanting to press charges. When it comes to DV which is typically a misdemeanor most states do not allow law enforcement any discretion in how to handle the investigation regardless of the victims wishes. The law is very clear that if probable cause exists an arrest will be made. This nonsense of I just want to have a report made in the case of DV matters is too much CSI tv crap.
It’s a long way from arrest to conviction when the victim doesn’t cooperate.

Those were from his (well deserved) suspension for reckless driving.

I don't believe the photos of Barmore's Ex(?) G were shown to the media. Just supposedly evidence as part of the charges filed against Barmore so I can't say one way or the other.

So we wait, they’ll have their day in court.

Rice’s girlfriend went directly to the court of public opinion on social media, I don’t think someone trying to run a confidence scheme does that. He looks guilty.

Not as long as you think depending on other factors. True story....couldnt make this up for a Springer show. Had a buddy on the force whose wife, brother-in-law and mother-in-law plotted and tried to kill him. They failed and were all arrested. While the wife was in jail awaiting trial she gave birth to their 3rd child. He started talking to her while she was awaiting trial and he started giving her excuses for role in the attempted murder. He became uncooperative in the prosecution and became almost unusable in the trial. She still got convicted but on a lighter sentence than the other two. It almost cost him his job. The irony of this was after she got out they had this on again off again thing and she got him arrested and ultimately fired for....you guessed it domestic assault.

This doesn't exactly fall into that category, but my biggest reason for hating the Chiefs has always been that they make it a habit to draft guys who fall in the draft for "character" concerns with domestic violence included. Andy Reid even did it going back to his PHI days. It's rather disgusting to me to constantly look for where you can get value like that. I understand that all teams do it sometimes but Andy Reid's teams in KC and PHI before that made it a point. It would be a joke on draft sites for a while that any player with character concerns was going to Mavin Lewis' Bengals or Reid's Eagles. Passing over bad character to the point it becomes a punchline that you do it makes you unlikeable for me.

Obviously as a Pats fan if I ever bring it up people just point to Aaron Hernandez. Which obviously is the all time character overlook and the organization/fans have to take that one on the chin if we ever complain about anyone else. The two recent arrests don't help to. But overall through the dynasty years I have to say that I was super impressed/proud of/happy to root for the guys we had character wise. I give Kraft credit for a hard line stance on those types of guys, especially domestic violence. (But again, if you ever try to praise him to another team's fans they just joke about his consensual handjobs... but nothing gets forgiven in the internet trolling/meme era I guess.)

It was a serious question and had nothing to do with our players or their players. She’s putting the pictures on the internet for everyone to see, I hope she goes to the police and shares the pictures with them so something can be done to protect her.

Interesting story but I am not sure what it has to do with my statement. Conspiracy to commit murder is not even remotely analogous to domestic violence, especially when there are 3 conspirators who were no doubt plenty eager to rat each other out.

Domestic violence tends to be one person assaulting another. If the victim doesn’t cooperate, it’s pretty darn impossible to prove a crime in a court of law.

This sounds like a toxic relationship. I assumed she did not call police for any of these. If she has time stamps to prove it, the this is different from Diggs but similar to Barmore.
In Diggs case, there is additional evidence that shows he is likely to innocent based on text exchanges between Cardi and the chef.
So yes, we have a player like Rashee on our team who may not be here next season if he does not get his act together. Way too many negatives experiences from Barmore in last 18 months.

There's a domestic violence alllegation against Barmore. What are the other "negative experiences," against him?

He had a traffic run in with the police and acted like a jerk. He later fully apologized.

Without going into a long post about the nuisances of a criminal prosecution for domestic assault (I have probably north of 100). It can successfully be prosecuted without a cooperative victim if the officer did a thorough investigation. Some victims will come to court and out right lie about what happened from what was told at the scene or during an interview. In those cases they can be looked at for perjury or filing a false police report. But you are right its an up hill battle (and wouldnt be prosecuted without a statement and corroborating/physical evidence) but I know that its a battle that can still be won but it is challenging.

I can't help but recall Julian Edelman being falsely accused. Thank goodness in that case there was video proving his innocence. Nothing happened to the false accuser though. Some of these guys are scumbags but others are simply easy targets for false claims from woman looking for a quick payout. Patriots' Edelman arrested for nightclub incident
